After an episode earlier this week with Steve & Kevin talking about their trip to BC, we stay out in the WHL this time with Ryan Switzer as we catch up on everything happening in the WHL. Penticton has won their division title and is officially the best expansion team in CHL history. Memorial Cup host Kelowna after a rough first half has been one of the hotter teams in the second half but they all continue to chase Everett who has a 40+ point lead in the US division!

Ryan asks Steve about Penticton but also wants to touch on a big story out of the QMJHL while Steve wants Ryan's opinion on the interleague news between the O & Q and whether the WHL could or should get in on it.

All 61: Finishing the CHL...Again

It's a road trip episode of the pod! This past weekend Steve and Kevin headed out to British Columbia to see the expansion Penticton Vees and finish all 61 CHL arenas. But when they got there, they found out this isn't your typical expansion franchise. The guys also saw an AHL game in Abbotsford and were less impressed. Also checking out some former arenas in New Westminster and Kamloops and a couple others along the way.

Plus, some news at notes about potential expansion teams as Chatham seems to be throwing their hat into the ring along with Cornwall and Vaughan.

All 61: Patrick's Week in Newfoundland

The WHL trade deadline has come and gone and it perhaps wasn't quite as insane as the Q or O but Ryan Switzer is here to break it all down for us as his Broncos have been having a very tough go of things as of late as have the Prince George Cougars who have lost 7 straight. On the flip side the Medicine Hat Tigers have won 17 in a row! Expansion Penticton has won 9 straight while Everett continues to cruise in the western conference.

All 61: Back Out West

After a month of QMJHL, Newfoundland and Guelph Storm Memorial Cup talk it's time for the show to head back out west and check in on the WHL with Swift Current's own Ryan Switzer!

Unfortunately for Ryan his Swift Current Broncos are having a bad time, last in the league, a resigned head coach due to misconduct and since this recording session even gave up a goalie goal! Meanwhile the Memorial Cup host Kelowna Rockets seem to have turned a corner with a very solid month of November along with some trades, though one of those trades has blown up in their face a tad.

The London Knights are the 2025 Memorial Cup Champions after a pretty convincing 4-1 victory over the Medicine Hat Tigers in Sunday's tournament final. Steve & Patrick check in with their pre-game thoughts before fast forwarding to the post game breakdown and are eventually joined by Will MacLaren from The Hockey News.

All 60: End of Round Robin/Semi Final Preview

The round robin portion of the Memorial Cup came to an end on Wednesday night.

Steve and Patrick look back at Tuesday nights game between London and Medicine Hat as Medicine Hat finishes 3-0 to get the bye to the final, the first for a WHL team since 2009. Then in Wednesday's round robin finale Moncton gets the better of the host Rimouski Oceanic who's impressive season comes to an end.

The guys tee up Fridays semi final between London and Moncton.

All 60: Michel Germain Voice of the Oceanic

Michel Germain has been the radio play by play voice of the Rimouski Oceanic for their entire 30 year history. When this tournament is over however he is hanging up the microphone and calling it a career. Steve and Patrick talk to Michel about his 30 years as the Oceanic play by play announcer, helping make his broadcast user friendly for parents of English speaking players and of course the charity named after his late daughter that helps feed the less fortunate in the area. The most baffling of which is the 1 period suspensions for most Niagara IceDogs players, yet they are still neck and neck with Barrie.
