Not only do you get to meet people in the same walk and season of life as you, but you also get exposed to people you can learn from. People you can rely on and who rely on you!

Church is just one place you can find this community. Lately, though our connect groups we have come to realise how big of a part these people play in our lives. It can be hard to find your tribe, so it's important to step out of your comfort zone. You never know what you will find or whom you'll meet!

In this episode, we also spoke about how as Christians, we are called to be the salt of the earth. That means surrounding yourself with believers and non believers alike. We hope you enjoy this episode.

Here is a challenge for this week, step out and try and make one friend from a new group of people. You never know what common ground you will find. Hopefully, after listening to this episode you can come to better appreciate the value of community.

We will catch you guys next Saturday.

https://alovelikethis.info

<itunes:image href="https://artwork.captivate.fm/d3276750-5e73-4b69-9842-5eb56bf16baf/KdwndYPcWrUe2uj5Ioy736sr.jpg"/>
Abi & Paige Johnson

<itunes:duration>24:35</itunes:duration><itunes:explicit>false</itunes:explicit><itunes:episodeType>full</itunes:episodeType><itunes:season>4</itunes:season><itunes:episode>78</itunes:episode><itunes:season>4</itunes:season><podcast:episode>78</podcast:episode><podcast:season>4</podcast:season><itunes:author>Abi & Paige Johnson</itunes:author>

Episode 77: Faith & Financial Independence with Jereme Vasquez
<itunes:title>Faith & Financial Independence with Jereme Vasquez</itunes:title>

Our incredible guest today, Jereme Vasquez shares that exact calling. After miraculously surviving a near-fatal brainstem stroke at age 26, life for Katherine and Jay Wolf changed forever - and so did the way they viewed the world. As they learned to not waste their pain and embrace a new perspective on life after catastrophic loss, Katherine and Jay discovered the unexpected gifts of suffering - a new identity, courage in the face of fear, and grace to flourish in a good and hard life. With brave transparency and enduring hope, Katherine and Jay share how the hardest moments led to supernatural strength - not in spite of pain but because of it. Suffer Strong is a bold invitation to trusting a known God in the midst of an unknown future, to open our eyes to the hidden treasures and see how, even in the dark, new life is born.

With hope, humour, and joy, Katherine and Jay show us how to survive anything by redefining how we think about everything”.
