The truth is, we’d rather someone lovingly point it out than let us keep walking around unaware.

In our spiritual lives, it’s no different.

God, in His love, reveals what doesn’t belong in us or on us, not to shame us, but to grow us. He sees what we can’t always see. And because you are His masterpiece, He cares enough to prune what’s getting in the way of your purpose.

But sometimes, we don’t always want to let go.

Scripture (NIV):

John 15:2 – “He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful.”

💬 Want to talk about it more?

What’s something in your life you know doesn’t belong, but you’ve been holding onto anyway?

What would it look like to fully trust God and let Him remove it?

Let’s talk about what God may be pruning in your life right now. 👉https://www.facebook.com/DevinAlmonte

https://anchorpoints.devinalmonte.com/episode/holding-onto-what-god-is-removing

<itunes:image href="https://artwork.captivate.fm/a0926efd-c15a-492e-a6d4-5de1649d215a/IOM-Logos-Jan-2026-1.png"/>

<itunes:duration>01:22</itunes:duration><itunes:explicit>false</itunes:explicit><itunes:episodeType>full</itunes:episodeType><itunes:episode>15</itunes:episode><podcast:episode>15</podcast:episode>

The Webs We Keep Rebuilding | Anchor Points
<itunes:title>The Webs We Keep Rebuilding | Anchor Points</itunes:title>

Like a spider rebuilding its web, we often rely on our own effort to hold everything together.

In today’s Anchor Point, Devin reflects on grace vs effort.

Why we keep trying to “earn” enough

How self-reliance falls apart

What it means to stand on grace

Scripture (NIV):

Ephesians 2:8–9 – “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith… not by works.”

💬 Want to talk about it more?

Where are you relying on effort?

What would trusting grace look like?

📩 Stay connected:

Like a spider rebuilding its web, we often rely on our own effort to hold everything together.

In today’s Anchor Point, Devin reflects on grace vs effort.

Why we keep trying to “earn” enough

How self-reliance falls apart

What it means to stand on grace

Scripture (NIV):

Ephesians 2:8–9 – “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith… not by works.”

💬 Want to talk about it more?

Where are you relying on effort?

What would trusting grace look like?

📩 Stay connected:

https://anchorpoints.devinalmonte.com/episode/what-happens-when-you-let-go

<itunes:image href="https://artwork.captivate.fm/2b8d95d3-714d-49dd-bbbc-a8e9e5adc1d2/IOM-Logos-Jan-2026-1.png"/>

<itunes:duration>01:32</itunes:duration><itunes:explicit>false</itunes:explicit><itunes:episodeType>full</itunes:episodeType><itunes:episode>14</itunes:episode><podcast:episode>14</podcast:episode>

Are You Building Someone Else’s Life? | Anchor Points with Devin Almonte
<itunes:title>Are You Building Someone Else’s Life? | Anchor Points with Devin Almonte</itunes:title>

Have you looked at LEGO sets lately?

Almost every one of them comes pre-loaded with someone else's story.
