He later went on to earn Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Music Performance from the Cleveland Institute of Music under the tutelage of world-renowned harpist, Alice Chalifoux. He has performed with major orchestras across the United States. It was while touring Europe that this Tanglewood alum played in his first jazz "jam session."</p><p>His debut solo recording, "<a href="http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/calvinstokes" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Free</a>," is an intriguing blend of R&amp;B and Latin Jazz, released on the ChiliDog® record label. Her&nbsp; teachers have included David Cerone, Josef Gingold, Daniel Heifetz, Virginia&nbsp; Schneider, David Updegraff, Donald Weilerstein, and Mimi Zweig.&nbsp;</p><p class="ql-align-justify">Ms. Gomez has appeared on three occasions as a soloist with the Louisville Symphony&nbsp; Orchestra and solo appearances with the Berlin Symphony Orchestra and the&nbsp; Cleveland Institute of Music Orchestra. A native of Louisville, Kentucky, Ms. Gomez&nbsp; grew up in a musical family; her mother, Dorothy Nolen, was a singer.&nbsp;</p><p class="ql-align-justify">Ms. Gomez and her husband, James, have five children: Dorothy, James Jr., Manuel,&nbsp; Mariana, and Cecilia. Ms. Gomez enjoys running, reading, and singing in her church&nbsp; choir.&nbsp;</p><p class="ql-align-justify"><strong>Lisa Boyko </strong>joined The Cleveland Orchestra in 1991, after serving as a member of the&nbsp; New Orleans Symphony, Toronto Symphony, and the Minnesota Orchestra. Her&nbsp; teachers have included David Cerone, Josef Gingold, Daniel Heifetz, Virginia&nbsp; Schneider, David Updegraff, Donald Weilerstein, and Mimi Zweig.&nbsp;</p><p class="ql-align-justify">Ms. Gomez has appeared on three occasions as a soloist with the Louisville Symphony&nbsp; Orchestra and solo appearances with the Berlin Symphony Orchestra and the&nbsp; Cleveland Institute of Music Orchestra. A native of Louisville, Kentucky, Ms. Gomez&nbsp; grew up in a musical family; her mother, Dorothy Nolen, was a singer.&nbsp;</p><p class="ql-align-justify">Ms. Gomez and her husband, James, have five children: Dorothy, James Jr., Manuel,&nbsp; Mariana, and Cecilia. Ms. Gomez enjoys running, reading, and singing in her church&nbsp; choir.&nbsp;</p><p class="ql-align-justify"><strong>Lisa Boyko </strong>joined The Cleveland Orchestra in 1991, after serving as a member of the&nbsp; New Orleans Symphony, Toronto Symphony, and the Minnesota Orchestra. Born in&nbsp; Cleveland and raised in Tucson, Arizona, Ms. Boyko studied for two years in Vienna at&nbsp; the Musikgymnasium and the Hochschule für Musik. In 1985, she received a bachelor&nbsp; of music degree from the Cleveland Institute of Music (CIM), where she was a student&nbsp; of Robert Vernon.&nbsp;</p><p class="ql-align-justify">Ms. Boyko has appeared as alumni soloist with the Cleveland Institute of Music&nbsp; Chamber Orchestra in the Cleveland premiere of Darius Milhaud’s <em>Concertino d’été </em>and &nbsp;continues to perform regularly in solo recitals and chamber music concerts. She is a&nbsp; faculty member at CIM and Case Western Reserve University and has taught at the&nbsp; Encore School for Strings in Hudson and the Masterworks Festival in Spartanburg, S.C.&nbsp;</p><p class="ql-align-justify">Ms. Boyko is active in local organizations that support and promote music and arts&nbsp; education, including the CIM Alumni Association, Cleveland Chamber Collective, Ohio&nbsp; Viola Society, and Inlet Dance Theatre. In her spare time, she is an avid traveler who&nbsp; also enjoys gardening, reading, and languages.&nbsp;</p><p class="ql-align-justify"><strong>Bryan Dumm </strong>has been a member of The Cleveland Orchestra since 1986. He&nbsp; maintains a varied career that also includes solo work, chamber music, teaching, and&nbsp; educational outreach. He has been featured as a soloist with the Rochester &nbsp;Philharmonic, the Alabama Symphony Orchestra, and the Cleveland Philharmonic&nbsp; Orchestra. Mr. Dumm has performed throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia&nbsp; with a variety of small ensembles including the Cleveland Octet, Brioso String Quartet,&nbsp; Ars Poetica, Amici String Quartet, and the Myriad Ensemble. He is a founding member&nbsp; of the Samaris Piano Trio, which has recorded on the Newport Classics label.&nbsp;</p><p>Mr. Dumm currently serves on the faculties of the Cleveland Institute of Music and&nbsp; Cleveland State University and has been a faculty member of the CREDO Summer&nbsp; Chamber Music Program since it started 10 years ago. He has given cello &nbsp;masterclasses in music schools across the country and is active in The Cleveland&nbsp; Orchestra’s educational programs, which bring musical experiences to students in&nbsp; Cleveland and Miami.
