Nigel has traveled a troubled journey through his musical past, beating addiction and other demons, and never giving up. Nigel’s career began in the heyday of punk in London in the ’70s. He auditioned for various bands including The Sex Pistols and Iron Maiden.

Nigel joined The Vibrators, one of London’s first punk bands, in 1989. The band toured, annually visiting all of Europe and North America, along with a visit to South America in 2019. Nigel played on many Vibrators albums and wrote songs with band leader Knox Carnochan, who stopped touring a few years ago.

Sadly, the Vibrators broke up during the pandemic in 2020.

“Knox’s songs are so good that they need to be heard. I got married and moved to Philadelphia and it felt right to restart the band here as the Vibrators V2,” says Bennett, who previously played with the MTV favorite, The Members, who had hits with songs like “Working Girl,” “Radio,” and “Sound of the Suburbs.”

The new lineup consists of bassist Dave Janney (Creem Circus) and drummer Rick Eddy (Blue Wave Theory). The band has been rehearsing in a secret location in South Jersey and will be webcasting a show over the summer so fans all over the world can see and hear the magic of the Vibrators V2.

Nigel’s solo career is on hold while he reboots the Vibrators V2, although he’s still writing songs. Nigel released two solo albums on Zip Records/Sony Red - Truth or Consequences(2012) and Another Bump in the Road (2018).

Nigel has traveled a troubled journey through his musical past, beating addiction and other demons, and never giving up. Nigel’s career began in the heyday of punk in London in the ’70s. He auditioned for various bands including The Sex Pistols and Iron Maiden.

In 1978, Nigel joined The Members, who soon after signed to Virgin Records. The Members’ first album At the Chelsea Nightclub was released in 1979. Nigel wrote some of The Members’ songs including “Radio,” which reached number four in the Australian music charts and was in heavy rotation in the early days of MTV.

After The Members broke up, Nigel toured with Julian Lennon performing on popular television shows in Europe. As part of Julian’s band, Nigel performed “Too Late for Goodbyes” and “Valotte” and “Salt Water.”

Nigel played session work for various musicians, including former Stranglers frontman Hugh Cornwell, Tom Robinson, Joan Armatrading, Toyah Wilcox and Eddie and The Hot Rods.

Nigel’s guitar virtuosity has caught the ear of many respected musicians, producers, and journalists. Nigel was featured in Guitar Player magazine for his cover of Joni Mitchell’s “Both Sides Now,” a radio-friendly, buzz-making track on Truth or Consequences.

On Father’s Day in 1964, he was awarded a full Track Scholarship to St. Joseph’s College … and they didn’t have a football team. Before that, he went to Interboro High School, which is about 6 miles south of the Philly Border. As a “Buccaneer” Vince earned varsity letters in football, basketball & track … all in his senior year. Track was the sport where he excelled as a pole- vaulter and that got him a full ride to “Hawk Hill.” He was always told he was too small to play high school football although he was the fastest kid at Interboro!

Later, an opportunity to join the Philadelphia Eagles unexpectedly presented itself. In 1976, Dick Vermeil announced all-comers are welcome to tryout. This move by Vermeil was shocking and even perceived as a publicity stunt, but it proved very real. Vince was working as a part-time bartender, nightclub doorman, and substitute teacher as he was on a leave of absence from teaching at Interboro. That’s where the movie, Invincible picked up the story. He did not get an invitation to the tryout from Dick Vermeil, as Wikipedia suggests, and got 4 credited years with the Eagles earning his NFL pension and getting the ultimate Last Laugh. The Last Laugh is also the title of Vince’s book. Some other notes on the Invincible movie: yes, Mark Wahlberg and Vince have remained friends. Max’s bar was real as were his 3 amigos, one of which was a downer. And, Janet & Vince met in ’76 but didn't get married until 1993. He will always be grateful to 2 great coaches in his life. George Corner (Interboro) & Dick Vermeil (Eagles) as well as the values instilled by his parents Almira & Kingie.

I began a career in journalism and then would venture into the world of fashion. He has since launched Rich Kid Clothing. Mark's story is a testament to the power of will and overcoming.

Mysoline "Missy" Monique:

Next, you will meet Mysoline "Missy" Monique and her spark and passion will fire up your soul. From Chicago Illinois, growing up as a little girl Mysoline’s mother Francine Neal always assured her that she had a voice and it was okay to use it. After working as a supervisor of a psychiatric facility and the loss of her mother in March 2021, Mysoline realized that people of the world are truly hurting and there’s no real way to strengthen the minds if we do not first heal the hearts. August 2021 Mysoline started her podcast The Silent Fight so that people can have a place to discuss real-life situations and find resources, inspiration, courage, and support 💜💜💜
