Today’s conversation is with AOB alum, Angelene Parker. After being in the mortgage business for over 20 years, Angelene stepped into her true calling of becoming a healer. Using yoga, meditation, Breathwork, and energy movement, Angelene works with her clients to heal and help regulate the nervous system, allow clients to settle in and embody themselves, and experience all the magic healing work that happens.

The truth is, breathwork and meditation is not a one size fits all healing modality. Everyone can utilize different practices and techniques depending on what season of life they’re in or what emotion you’re moving through at the moment. But one thing is for sure. Bringing breathwork and meditation into your daily life will allow for powerful healing and growth of emotional intelligence within you.

At the foundation, at the core of manifestation, is our beliefs, because our beliefs are so influential on what we even ask for and what we think we're worthy of. Our beliefs influence our thoughts, our actions. I want us to explore today the origination of beliefs, and how we are able to shift and transform the beliefs that we have, and therefore create lives beyond our wildest dreams, businesses beyond our wildest dreams, ask for things, claim things in our life, call things in our life that maybe we never would have even asked for or dreamed of.

I have the intention that this episode will be a really inspiring episode, a very motivating episode for you, and a pathway for us to just expand the perspective of what beliefs actually are, how we can change them, and why they came to be so we can hold ourselves with compassion and grace. When we look at manifestation through this different lens, we take our power back and manifest like a motherfucking boss.

260 | How I Built A 7-Figure Coaching Business Primarily Through Group Programs

In this episode I’m sharing more of my journey of shifting from one-on-one to group experiences and the things that I've learned along the way. In this process of shifting my business model I was able to create a lot of momentum that has stuck with me as I have created more group experiences, gotten a lot of my time back, and been able to scale my income. This conversation is going to be super supportive for anybody that is earlier on in business or for those of you that are ready to move away from one-to-one, make more money and get more of your time back. If you want more freedom, which is why you probably started your business to begin with, this episode is for you.

I take you on the journey from launching my podcast to deciding I wanted to start a coaching business, realizing the one-to-one model wasn’t working for me and the fears I had to overcome when I launched my first group programs. Plus, I share my top three tips for launching a group program, and the most amazing takeaways I’ve learned from running group experiences.

So if you're thinking about it, definitely don't hold back, create a group experience, go all in until the very end, know that everything that you're doing is compounding on itself and trust that if group experiences are on your heart, that it truly is meant to be.

259 | Lessons from Loss & Reconnecting with Purpose

I had a lot of resistance recording this episode, but I know that this community is filled with the most amazing human beings, and I feel grateful, despite how vulnerable it is, to share what's happening behind the scenes, to truly go there with you, because I know that I'm not alone in it. I’ve been navigating the complexities within the duality of reconnecting with my purpose and anchoring more deeply into my purpose while simultaneously navigating the deep grief and loss of my sweet, forever puppy dog, Penny. I’ve realized that our plans and expectations of ourselves are not always aligned with the highest good and to rise to the occasion of whatever lessons life presents.

Ironically, I went from one of the most amazing weeks of my life and career at the Academy of Breath's advanced practitioner training in Mexico, to the deeply painful experience of losing my Penny. The retreat in Mexico was a truly incredible and unforgettable experience, connecting with individuals I've supported for years and witnessing profound breakthroughs. This retreat allowed me to see the impact of my work and the magic that can happen when people come together in person. Coming home to a sick pup was truly heartbreaking, and losing her has reminded me of how precious life is, and to always live full out.

Join me on this episode as we explore the duality of passion and grief, the lessons learned, and the potential for growth that lies within embracing the challenges life throws our way. Together, we'll navigate the complexities of our personal and professional journeys, finding strength, purpose, and transformation. I hope that just seeing how I've navigated it, how I'm showing up for myself and my thought process behind the lessons and the trial and the error will give you an expanded perspective, and a different choice potentially to make as you navigate the ebbs and flows of your life as well. Do you ever have moments as an entrepreneur when you’re questioning everything? Sometimes a reset is the best way to get really clear and be intentional with why you do things within your business. Recently I had to make a really tough decision, but one I knew I needed to make in order to get back to the heart of this work and make sure the Academy of Breath’s internal processes are sustainable for me and my team. I’m sharing my process of confronting how uncomfortable this situation was, yet how confident I am in my own mission and goals thanks to the work I’m so passionate about teaching.

This series is such a great reflection on how everything is impermanent, and we will have moments or seasons where things feel overwhelming or hard, and then we will have moments of flow of pure joy where we just feel so in our purpose and on our aligned path. None of it is constant, all of it is beautiful, all of it is necessary, and all of it is showing us something more. I feel so deeply trusting in the ebbs and flows more than ever before because this year has really shown me that it's just a part of it.

Welcome Academy of Breath alumni, yoga instructor and wellness guide, Ashley Allard. Over the last several months I've gotten to know Ashley as such a beautiful human being, leader, and literally the most radiant light you can see. Her soul is beautiful, and I wanted to have her on the podcast so that you could hear not only about her experience inside of AOB, but just receive from such a wonderful woman.

Ashley and I agree that one of the coolest things that we have received from these practices, like breathwork, meditation, and yoga, is how it's really transformed us as individuals in relationships; not just romantic relationships, but friendships, relationships with those that we work with, with clients, relationships with actual material things as well as, and most importantly, the relationship we have with ourselves.

This series is about me sharing in real time what’s happening behind the scenes, and to be completely transparent, this past month has been a rollercoaster of anxiety. I felt sucked into the overwhelm mentally and emotionally of many things we’re doing behind the scenes. For me it’s a reminder of how important it is to take care of myself, but also not let the fear of overwhelm stop me from going for what I’m inspired by. So, in this 3rd episode of "Going There," I’m sharing the practices and conversations I’ve had with myself that have helped me navigate this season and find more peace in case any of you can relate.

In this episode I’m sharing the neuroscience behind upgrading your identity, and how to create new neural pathways that help you shift your emotions, thoughts and actions. The thing that I love about identity work is that it doesn't matter who you are, where you come from, where you're starting, what you look like, or who you love: we all have the ability to change our identities and in doing so, change our lives. I'll share the nervous system science about rewiring your body and how breathwork can be used as a tool for upgrading your identity. When you start to do this work, it's not a matter of if it's going to stick, if you will be successful, if your reality will upgrade; it's a matter of when.

I’m joined this week by a badass community builder and friend of mine, Chanel Sonego.
