In 2020, Leeds Beckett history students undertook a research project to look at the impact of this raid on the city and the lives of the people who lived there. In this episode of Beckett Talks, Dr Henry Irving talks to Leanne Speight, one of the students involved in the project, about what they learned. They are joined by Diana Bell, whose parents were married the day after the raid.
