It sounds more like a city council meeting than a dramatic finale. But by the end of the chapter, Ruth and Boaz are married, Naomi is holding a grandson, and we discover that this ordinary family will eventually become the family of King David.</p><p>It's a reminder that some of the most important moments in life don't feel dramatic when they're happening.
