He as authored many books on training, nutrition, and recovery. His new book is coming out called Scientific Principles of Hypertrophy Training in a few weeks. 

	He is also a former professor of Exercise and Sport Science, and the Strength and Hypertrophy program at Lehman College, and has taught several classes at multiple universities for Nutrition for Public Health, Advanced Sports Nutrition and Exercise, and Nutrition and Behavior. 

	Originally from Moscow, Russia, he worked as a consultant on Sports Nutrition to the U.S. Olympic Training Site in Johnson City, TN. 

	He has spoke at numerous scientific and performance/health conferences worldwide and the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Lake Placid, NY. Dr. Mike Israetel has coached numerous athletes and busy professionals in both diet and weight training, and is himself a competitive bodybuilder and professional Jiu Jitsu grappler.
