After four incredible years of growth and learning, I am excited to announce that we are rebranding and evolving from The VA Studio into Notoire Media House!

Our journey from the VA Studio to Notoire is a testament to the vibrant community and innovative spirit that you all bring to our world.

We are also doing our final launch of the Full Time VA program and preparing for the upcoming season 3 of the podcast. We’ll be pausing to enjoy summer, and we are so looking forward to being back in your earbuds (with a new look and a new name!) in the fall!

Identify internal breakdowns: Was there a lapse in our internal processes that led to dissatisfaction?
Implement preventive measures: What steps can we take to prevent similar issues in the future, whether it's improving our quality control or refining our client vetting process?

✨Extend the batching philosophy to personal tasks like washing sheets or car cleaning – a monthly affair. Fewer commitments mean less mental clutter, allowing a sharper focus on business without constant distractions.

✨ Mornings are for high-energy tasks – think creativity and writing. Afternoons? Reserved for meetings, admin tasks, and even workouts. Yes, I save my workouts for the afternoon – a genuine game-changer.

✨ The big three – identify three non-negotiable tasks for the day. Accomplish them, and suddenly, the rest of your to-do list feels more manageable. Blocking time for lingering to-dos? A sanity-saving move.

It's time to ditch the notes and get real because, in today’s unscripted Millenial Mom Movemeodcast episode, I'm taking you behind the scenes of what's been happening here at The Virtual Assistant Studio this summer! ☀️ Just think of it as a little heart-to-heart chat. I’ve got some major updates and exciting news to share, so grab your coffee, get cozy, and let's dive into all the details!

Sunny days, popsicles, and the sound of my kiddos playing in the background. Yep, that's pretty much been my summer so far. I decided to keep my boys at home with me, like the good old-fashioned summers I remember when I was a kid, and it's been a wild, fun, and sometimes crazy ride. Trying to juggle work and mom duties is no joke, but it's all about making memories! 💗 This summer has taught me it's all about slowing down, taking a step back, soaking it all in, and enjoying time with my kiddos.

During the past two months, we've been super busy at The Virtual Assistant Studio. We streamlined our services, focusing on what we excel at and eliminating the chaos that comes with trying to do #allthethings! 👌We're also stepping up our game when it comes to client experience. From the moment they hop on board to the ongoing support, we want it to be top-notch. That means smoother processes, better communication, and a sprinkle of extra magic. Because it's all about providing the best results for our clients and creating a positive working environment for our team. ✨

Speaking of our team, we've officially kicked off an internship program! 🎓Yes, you heard that right! We're teaming up with several local universities to offer talented students the opportunity to earn college credits, along with some real hands-on experience in different departments within our agency. I like to think of it as our way of giving back and helping them grow in the industry. I know they’ll be bringing fresh ideas and energy into the studio, and I couldn't be more excited about it!

Hitting our three-year anniversary feels surreal. To grow the business, I'm investing in some personal growth, focusing on the big picture stuff, like how to take over the world—just kidding! Seriously though, I'll be working on some amazing strategies to grow the business and serve our clients even better. To help me navigate this new chapter, I've brought in a mindset coach. She's all about faith 🙏 and positivity, which, honestly, I think we could all use a little more of these days. I can't wait to share all the things I'll be learning from her!

I use to be afraid to look at the numbers. I would put it off until the end of the month. I would make decisions based on the amount of money I currently saw in my bank account. And want to know where that left me? Feeling stressed and confused and frustrated.

After all, the reason that you started your business is because you want freedom and flexibility. BUT you can't have either of those things if you can't properly manage the FLOW of the money that is coming in and going out.

In this episode we are digging into exactly how to understand your numbers, what you truly need to know and how to tear the emotion away from your finances.

MEET CATHERINE

Catherine began her career in publishing spending years working as a magazine editor and with emerging luxury fashion designers. At the age of 25, she launched her first business in November 2014, e-commerce company PLAN DE VILLE as the online destination for luxury fashion by emerging designers. She received the Rising Star Award in Retail from The Fashion Group International in 2016 for the concept. Catherine's work has been featured in Harper's Bazaar, Forbes, Women's Wear Daily, and by Nasdaq.
