Mike and Mary Jo Peters - Fighting Sex Trafficking (Let My Children Go)

Mike, a retired anesthesiologist, and Mary Jo, a former teacher and stay-at-home mom, have been involved in various Christian ministries over the decades. Most recently, they've been called by God to provide a restoration ministry for young girls rescued out of sex trafficking in Iowa, and are in the early stages of forming a ministry to support that call.

Sarah Buzynski - The Battle for the Hearts and Minds of Our Children...One Mom's Story

Sarah Buzynski is "just a mom" who wants her kids to know Jesus and trust God's Word. When she heard about LifeWise curriculum -- a curriculum where kids can learn the Scriptures in a public school setting -- on Carmen LaBerge's Faith Radio program she was stirred by the Lord to investigate LifeWise, and then to get it set up in her local school district. In the process, Sarah unexpectedly ran into some resistance and learned that this would end up being more controversial than she ever imagined or intended. Through this, she is more aware of the spiritual battle that exists around us and she has a better understanding of the cost of discipleship that will be required of any Christian who desires to used in God's Kingdom.

The Boettger Family - Kingdom Parenting and Youth Sports (or Other Activities)

Tim, one of our radio preachers on The CC Broadcast, and Kris Boettger are parents to two successful athletes: Ike, former offensive lineman for the Iowa Hawkeyes and current NFL player, and Adrienne, who was a Division III All-America basketball player for Wartburg College in Waverly, IA. Despite their family's exposure to athletics at an elite level and Ike/Adrienne's impressive achievements, their first love is the Lord and living life according to his design. For all these reasons and more, they're the perfect people to have a conversation with about how to parent kids in a Christ-centered manner through the youth sports minefield. And the truths discussed here don't end with youth sports...this stuff can be applied to many other activities that kids are involved with today, where Christian parents need to do better, as a whole, at distinguishing themselves from the culture and the world around us.

Phil and Priscilla Fretwell lived their life for Christ, got married in 1988, yet had to go backwards in their marriage, dealing with infidelity and addiction, and having to start from scratch. Priscilla answered the phone and the person asked about movie rentals and learned that Phil hadn't returned an X-rated movie, and Priscilla drew the line on Porn and Addiction being unacceptable in their marriage. Phil right away started going to a counselor, and well...you can listen and hear where this story goes from there.

He also has a special needs daughter, has a wife who battled cancer, had a mother who was tragically killed in a car accident, and had an aunt who is now his step-mother! Throughout the ups and downs of this interesting life, his faith has grown to the point where he wants to be more intentional and fruitful about helping people around him develop spiritually. He and Matt originally met through Tyler's sister and brother-in-law at the Dayton Rodeo in Dayton, Iowa in 2021, and they were able to sit down for this interview on New Year's Eve of 2021 when Tyler and his family were in town for Christmas.

Gregg Hinzelman is an American-born Baylor University alum who currently works with Canada's arm of Campus Crusade for Christ, which is called Power to Change. Gregg has written a book called "What Are You Trusting God For?" which both paints a compelling Kingdom vision for Christians to buy into AND is exceedingly practical in how an everyday Christian can take steps toward greater Kingdom impact.
