Am I Part Mermaid?

Divine day and welcome back to Chatting with Chickens and Other Wonderful Animals. I was just taking some time to do a little bit of breath work, meditate, and center myself. When I think about jumping into this episode and diving into the magical world, which is the sea, that whole experience that I recently was on, the song that I keep hearing is from The Little Mermaid, but part of your world, but I feel it's like the opposite. I went from human to mermaid and just loved it, absolutely loved it. It was absolutely beautiful, divine, and profound. It's been easy at times to put it into words for people. It's been hard at times to put into words for people. I think the biggest thing is I'm blown away by... Other sentient beings openness to bringing us in and letting us be part of their world, especially when they don't have to. I will cherish my week in Egypt and the Red Sea. So let's dive into this.

I've been talking a little more in the last two episodes about heart coherence, getting into the heart, and that being where our intuition resides and our stillness resides.

There's so much beauty that resides in the heart and how when we have a busy mind or a stressed mind, how that can get in the way of us connecting on a more profound bubble with the animals who make up our world. So what I thought we would do today is this recording is actually going to move into a meditation to help bring you into your heart that you can do with your animals If you're interested in doing this.

Hello everybody and welcome back. Today we're going to jump into, I think, one of my all-time fave connections just because it is one of those conversations where I was like, oh, that actually makes a lot of sense. However, without communicating with that animal, I never would've come to that conclusion.

Sometimes the animals in our lives, in our households are connected to us, and can start showing some peculiar behaviors. Some of these behaviors can be desirable, and some of them are not desirable. We, as humans, just don't know how to decipher that at times, unless we know how to check in and listen and see what's going on there. Enjoy!

Pigeon Lessons

Hello everyone and welcome back to chatting with Chickens and other wonderful Animals. I'm recording a few episodes today, and I have to say I am so excited about each of these. They're uplifting, they're funny, and they're just some cool episodes that I'm really, really looking forward to sharing with everyone.

Today's episode, Pigeon Lessons is one that I've had on my list of episodes to talk about, but it's just one that wasn't really at the top of the pile. Last week I was cleaning the barn and just picking up poop, doing my thing and this pigeon (I would say we maybe have six or seven pigeons flying around in the barn right now, hanging out in there) but this one started flying like right over top of me, and I was close to the one wall and it landed just on the ledge up and it was looking down and it was doing his or her COOs, making some noises. Then stopped and then it flew over top of me and flew to the other side of the barn, and then it flew back. These pigeons are there every day and they don't do this. So these are one of those moments when an animal is showing up in this way, you pay attention, you listen, you check in. So I took a few moments, put the manure fork down, and set the wheelbarrow and tuned in and I was like, Hey, what would you like me to pay attention to? Enjoy this episode!

I am smiling ear to ear as I think about today's episode where we're going to be chatting about, Starseed energy in dog form. Some of my favourite sessions are when I do co-sessions or when I do sessions for humans and their animal or the animal and their guardian. It's cool because most of the time it starts by doing the session for the animal.

Some of us are really good at putting our animals' needs before our own. A lot of the time I'll meet a lot of our clients because I'm coming out to do an energy medicine session for their animal. Now, one of the really cool things though, is often when we are doing sessions for ourselves, the healthier we are, the healthier our animals can be too.

Delilah's Passing

Hello everyone and welcome back to Chatting with Chickens with me, Lindsay, I hope that you're all having a great day. I have to say in sitting down to record today, especially after the experience I had for the last recording and how Phineas our cat showed up. I think he's now my new podcast Director. As I'm getting ready to set up today and I'm doing my meditation and just taking some time to get grounded and centered, he's pawing at me, and being a little persistent, I guess you could say.

I took a moment, took a breath, and just tuned in with him, and he just reminded me of something special to share on this episode that I wouldn't have thought of sharing. So I'm sending him some thanks and some. But it's been really cool the last few times to see how he's showing up to make sure I am on point for these episodes.

It'll be interesting to see how today's episode goes. For me, it's definitely a bit of a tear-jerker, but it's a story that I can't help but share as it's one of the most beautiful things I've had the chance to experience in my life and something that I'm beyond grateful for being able to be present for.

For today's episode, we're going to be talking about our black sheep Delilah and her transitioning.

Humperdink

Humperdink was one of the roosters that we've had on our farm. Just such a sweet and beautiful soul. His genetics live on in a lot of our chickens. It's one of those things with animals is it's so easy for them to mirror our consciousness because they don't talk in the really easy verbal communication that we have with ourselves kind of way. It's so easy for them to become a mirror for what we have going on for our stuff.

We don't always realize it. That's when they can start taking on pathologies but that's also when just imbalances come in. It is when we're placing an imbalance on that being and not recognizing that it's ours. Humperdink was a being that really helped me journey through this.

I'm a worrior, not a warrior. Worry like worrier. I lend into worry really, really easily. So much better now than I used to be. Because you know where your awareness goes, energy flows. So once you're aware of these things, it is easy to shift and change and reprogram, and involve your brain, your mindset, and your consciousness. The need to be aware. A big part of my journey with the beautiful animals that have come across our path, stayed at the farm, lived with us, and become part of our family, is really seeing their strength and ability to take care of themselves and not worry so much about them not be like that helicopter parent and to recognize their potential. Although that's not how I mean to come across, you really minimize one's potential when you over-worry for them and you almost hold them in this box. Enjoy today's episode!

Herbert Part 1

Hello everyone and welcome back to Chatting with Chickens. As I'm sure some of you who have beautiful fur families have experienced, it's amazing to see how your crew shows up when you have things going on. I'm sure you guys all can relate to when you're needing to get something done, like recording a podcast, and all of your animals need to be in that room with you helping you do that.

So today it's kind of like an off day. It hasn't been the days that I've normally been scheduled to record a podcast, but I've just been feeling like this story, this episode needs to come forward. As I'm getting ready and taking some time to just settle and tune in. Really interesting to see how the animals in the household and even the animals outside show up right before recording.

I know for me this episode is gonna be a heart warmer. It's about an amazing, amazing being in dog form that just completely changed my life. Today's episode is about Herbert and even as I say his name, I can feel my eyes well up. For any of you listening to this who are friends or family of ours, I'm sure your eyes maybe are watering up a bit because Herbert was just just a dog that touched a lot of hearts in a lot of profound and beautiful ways.

You know, those special ways that our animals have the ability to just impact us with their unconditional love and connection. Herbert was like our Mr. Miyagi. He definitely was my wax on, wax off kind of teacher. He showed up in our lives, I believe, as a teacher and support. Please enjoy!

Where It All Began
