He was asked to get involved in website building for the apartment, which fascinated him. And he ended up in the industry of advertising and marketing.</p><p>Aspects of Marketing</p><p>Some aspects include developing websites and all the technical things around them and reaching the audience through different platforms.</p><p>Adam thinks that marketing should be data focused. Anything you do about research is purely about the data that will inform your next decision. You are required to do quantitative data to understand the behaviour of people with things as it will impact building out a plan and it has to be underpinned by the research, data and facts.</p><p>Marketing Leadership</p><p>Adam believes one should be concerned about transparency and how plans and presents media solutions to clients. Be consultative with your clients and recommend the right tech stack. Act in the client’s interest to do the right thing by changing behaviour or shifting the product to the right place. The team must be align to do that. You need to have multiple perspective and focus on places where you can excel to get a positive impact. Getting the balance right is crucial.</p><p>Human behavioural psychology</p><p>You should be able to measure certain things on a basic level, like ads that can be seen online and the audience that makes up the campaign to be delivered. Human touches work far better than having any CRM database. We need to have front and centre like everything we do will change the result from the client’s point of view to the amount of revenue.
