I've watched Candy Buck create creature characters for many years now. Her talent and her skills are amazing! She's gonna show us just what she does on this show!

"Creativity Inside And Out" includes any type of art. If fact, I spoke with my Step Aerobics instructor this morning about possibly being on the show. I spent my day today working on AGT also known as America's Got Talent. Thought I'd share a bit of my day with you!!!

Here is a highlight of my previous show with Launa Romoff. In this clip

she shows us a piece of her beautiful art, she talks about the depth of

her art and that the particular piece is part of her "circle" period. I

love and enjoy looking at what she creates!

I loved spending the day with Launa Romoff as we talked. She surrounds herself with beauty with her art, her modeling and everything she does. I've always thought of art as say, painting. She opened my eyes to looking beyond that and deeper through to what is beautiful and the possibilities beyond. Launa Romoff inspires me in ways that no one else does. She is a mixed media artist and a model! Join us as we talk about her art, her modeling and her acting, all of which she started later in life!

Yes, it's true. Recently my friends Debbie Lowe, Vicki Kirk and I, also known as Girl Crush, performed in a Cabaret at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in North Hollywood, California. We do 1950's and 60's girl group songs. Here is "Sweet Talkin' Guy". It had been 7 years since we'd been on stage together and we were all about having a good time and spreading joy to others! Here is a highlight of my previous show with Roger Parham-Brown. Roger shares Americana roots with his music. Roger's stories are so unique and engaging. I appreciate him spending time with us!

Never at a loss for words which is wonderful, Roger Parham-Brown has written 10 novels. He reads the opening of his latest book, The Song of Sylvia, for us. It's really something special when an author reads part of their book because they can interpret it exactly as they intended the characters and the story to be presented. Jeff Millar-Sax is family to me! But even as family there were so many things about him, his life and his music that I didn't know. He is an accomplished songwriter and musician who also has a gift for pulling talented musicians together! Have banjo, will travel! I have not one, but two highlights from Marty's show. In this highlight she plays and sings "Mardi Gras In New Orleans"! This song was originally released by Professor Longhair and His Shuffling Hungarians in 1949 on a Star Talent 10" 78 RPM single. Marty does a mighty fine version of it here!

Here is a highlight of my previous show with Marty McCambridge. You know, art doesn't always have to be taken seriously. It can be fun, it can be a journey, it can be engaging and yes, it can be taken seriously for a number of reasons. But it this case, it's Marty being silly! My mom used to make Tuna Casserole and I think I may have made it in the past. It's good! But who would ever think there would be a song about it. Yes, art is endless and this is the perfect example! In our final Segment with Marty McCambridge she does not just one, but two different performances for us! The first is a reading from her one woman show "Nordic Princess Breaks the Ice". The second is Marty playing her banjo and singing. One of the songs she performs is "Tuna Casserole". I almost lost it and starting laughing hysterically while she was singing this. In the second part of my show with Marty McCambridge we talk the animation voiceover she did for "In The House of Paper Flowers"! This charming story has won 14 awards with an additional 3 nominations! Marty won an Award of Achievement for her narration at the Iowa Motion Picture Awards which is an award not usually given. We also talk about a disease she has that runs in her family called Osteogenesis imperfecta (OI) or brittle bone disease. She and many people in her family have this disease but they never let it stop them from living their dreams and living life to its fullest! She wrote and performed a one woman show, "Nordic Princess Breaks the Ice" which was beautifully presented about her life and her disease. This show is jam packed!

I've never made jewelry and had always thought that you just put some beads on a wire. If you want to make beautiful, quality jewelry, I have now learned from Pilar that there is so much more involved! I'm fascinated by how she can see the vision of what she's creating and then bring it to life! In this Segment of her show she demonstrates just how she goes about it and the materials and tools involved. After watching her make a piece of jewelry you just might be inspired to give this a try yourself! The possibilities are infinite!

So yes, I have very fine and thin hair. My family does not have a "good hair" gene. In this segment Chrissy shows how she lifts my hair extensions. She explains how she does it and how it doesn't hurt my hair. We also talk about many other things! (-: Then you will see what I look like after she weaves color into my hair and after my extensions are in place. No one ever knows that I actually have extensions. They always just think it's my own hair. Chrissy is brilliant at doing this using her product!

Here is a highlight of my previous "Creativity Inside And Out" show with guest, Leonor de la Vega! Even though Leonor explains in detail how she creates her beautiful animals on palm fronds, I will still not be trying this at home. (-: She has a gift and a passion for what she does and it comes through in every aspect of her pieces. It was eye opening to spend time with her.

Now we'll see how Leonor de la Vega creates these beautiful animals on palm fronds. I thought that she would simply paint them but there is so much more planning and thought that goes into bringing each piece to life. When I saw the chalked version of this elephant when we shot the show I could have never envisioned in my mind the vivid beauty this elephant would become. Do enjoy listening to Leonor's process.

When I was watching the closeup of his hand with the pick, I noticed that he was playing with both the pick and his fingers. I asked him about that and he said that's called "Hybrid Picking". I didn't know you could do that. I thought it was one or the other. I was thinking about the concentration and skill it must take to do this. You have the chords in your left hand and the "Hybrid Picking" with your right hand. I'm impressed!
