Our first study session for 2026, looking at Dogen's Bendowa. This is a short text (14 pages) that Master Dōgen wrote in 1231 to introduce his Japanese students to the teaching he brought back from China. A translation by Gudo Nishijima & Chodo Cross is available as a PDF.
