We all know how to select the juiciest, tastiest, and most delicious fruits in the produce aisle. How come we’re not as precise when selecting someone to disciple? This practical breakout will examine how Jesus chose His disciples, and how that impacts who we choose to disciple.

One committed and trained disciple-maker can make all the difference to a fellowship. So what could a team, or even a whole fellowship of them do? Join us as we discuss what you can do to move beyond individuals discipling to creating a culture of discipleship in your fellowship. 

After over 30 years of discipling students, we have a lot to share (mostly from our failures!) Come and join us as we think through the four main lessons we have learned! 

It’s so easy to be plagued by prayerlessness in discipleship. We can minister with a shrunken vision of God’s power and a warped view of our own abilities. Join us to fight self-reliant ministry, seeing the critical need for prayer in discipleship.

7 So the honor is for you who believe, but for those who do not believe,

“The stone that the builders rejected

They stumble because they disobey the word, as they were destined to do.

9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. 10 Once you were not a people, but now you are God's people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.

11 Beloved, I urge you as sojourners and exiles to abstain from the passions of the flesh, which wage war against your soul. 12 Keep your conduct among the Gentiles honorable, so that when they speak against you as evildoers, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day of visitation. – 1 Peter 2:4–12

22 Having purified your souls by your obedience to the truth for a sincere brotherly love, love one another earnestly from a pure heart, 23 since you have been born again, not of perishable seed but of imperishable, through the living and abiding word of God; 24 for

“All flesh is like grass

Can you really know whether you are a true Christian? According to the Bible, yes. You can know. In fact, God wants you to know. Such knowledge doesn’t require codeword access into the mysteries of the universe, but it will require you to get brutally honest about some pretty personal questions. In this workshop we’ll explore what the Bible says about the observable differences between those who have eternal life and those who do not.
