The great Bill Russell passed away over the weekend. Both on and off the court he was a superstar. A virtuoso defender, great teammate, and pioneer in the civil rights arena. On the opposite end of the spectrum is Deshaun Watson, whose punishment for sexual assault allegations was laid down. To say it is disappointing is an understatement. The dichotomy of these two athletes is staggering and a sign of the toxicity in sports.
