We made it! After 38 days of podcasts, we're here to round up Euro 2024 in a nice, big bow. We talk about what can be done to make these tournaments better and take a look at our highlights of the tournament.

We give out some Gazza Awards, get misty eyed at the final bits of mail and play one final game of Gerd Mentality.

It's the second game, so of course England get a draw. We should be used to it by now but it's still frustrating. We're unsure about why England seem so unlike themselves. And we ask whether the Trent experiment has failed.

Elsewhere, Romania stunned Wes’ dark horses Ukraine with a 3-0 win in Munich and the It’s All Euro 2024 team are not happy that there are only two games on tomorrow.

The first full day of Euro 2020 was a tough one as the football pails into insignificance after Denmark's Christian Eriksen collapsed on the pitch during Finland's 1-0 win over the Danes.

Elsewhere, Wales come back from 1-0 down against the Swiss to snatch a point and Belgium stroll to a comfortable 3-0 win over Russia.

France are pretty much favourites and they're so relaxed, Antoine Griezmann is attempting to sign Kylian Mbappé for his Newcastle United sign on Football Manager!

Germany will be hoping their lucky scratch 'n' sniff cards their manager, Joachim Löw bought before the tournament will make up for their dodgy defence.

There's not much to say about holders Portugal. Other than the fact that they beat England in 2004 thanks to a cheeky wink from Christiano Ronaldo. Great research, Danny!

And then to Hungary. Now here's a team we have some facts for! National dishes, strikers who aren't at the Euros and more!

Preview: Group E - Poland, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden

At every tournament there is a group that just doesn't quite cut it and Group E may just be it at Euro 2020.

Poland have former QPR manager, Paulo Sousa in charge having taken the manager's position in January. Or is The Fonz? Polska also give us a great excuse to roll out UEFA.com's Player Pronunciation page. But will it help?

Slovakia knocked out both Eire and Northern Ireland in the play offs last year to reach this summer's Euro's but we won't hold that against them. Charles may even go as far to call them a 'dark horse'.

The two time, former European Champs, Spain are without Sergio Ramos and are fighting a potential Covid outbreak ahead of their first game against Sweden.

Zlatan's Sweden are now simply just Sweden after the biggest ego in football hurt his knee. The tournament will definitely be worse without him.

Loves got the world in motion as we steam roller our way towards the start of Euro 2020 by taking a look at Group C.

Sorry Scotland fans but you will always be the butt of our jokes. We are England fans after all. We do love the new Irn Bru ads though, even if we aren't sure what it is. We're also hoping that Andrew Considine's omission from Steve Clarke's squad won't stop the rest of the players from singing Yes Sir, I can Boogie in the dressing room.

Our knowledge of the Czech Republic extends to former giants like Jan Koller, Karel Poborský and Antonín Panenka; who leads us onto Danny's complete dislike for penalties which aren't given a good old smashing.

Croatia are a worry for the podcast team as they think back to previous defeats to the Czech's. The 2018 World Cup semi-final. The Wally with the Brolly game in 2008 and the time Goran Ivanišević broke Tim Henman's heart at Wimbledon in 2001.

And as for our boys in white, red and blue? Well, it's coming home isn't it!?!

Is Jack Grealish the new Gazza? Have we learned anything from the friendlies against Austria and Romania? Will Gareth Southgate revert to type in the first game against Croatia?

We mull over the controversy of the North Macedonian kits while raving about their national flag and a striker who has a club named after him!

The Ukraine are back at a tournament after missing out on a place at the World Cup in 2018 and have former striker Andriy Shevchenko at the helm. Can they make it out of the group stage for the first time in their history?

And then there is the Netherlands. Or Holland, if you prefer, which we don't. How Frank de Boer has landed the managers job after only lasting for 4 games as Crystal Palace boss, no one knows. And de Boer doesn't seem to know his squad either. But are they dark horse material? Charles says yes. Danny and Neil both scream NO!

We've all tried a nice, frothy Belgian beer in our time and that might be all that awaits Eden Hazard, Kevin de Bruyne and the rest of Belgium's squad as the so called 'Golden Generation' enter the last chance saloon.

Everyone's favourite kit manufacturer, Hummel's Denmark side have a lot to do if they are to repeat their exploits of Euro '92. Will Charles' soft spot for Kasper Schmeichel be enough to see them through the group stage though?

Finland are definitely the most hipster team of the group. Don't believe us? Ask your mate with the beard comb who his 2nd team is this summer. See. Told you so!

Ah Russia. After a decent performance on home turf at World Cup 2018, who would have thought we'd be talking about one of their players masturbating on the internet? No, me neither.

In the first of our preview episodes we're taking a long hard look at Group A!

Italy are favourites and spend 2 hours unveiling Roberto Mancini's squad on national tv that includes rap battles, frying pans as musical instruments and a healthy dose of national pride as the entire squad sing the national anthem as the credits role.

Turkey are one of Danny's dark horses but Neil and Charles are having none of it. There's not a chance in hell that a team with a 35 year old striker will make the semi's. Burak Yilmaz may have scored 16 times in Ligue 1 for champions, Lille but even Neil could score in Ligue 1!

Everybody's favourite neutrals, Switzerland are the least known to our intrepid podders. Roy Hodgson may have once managed them but our only memory of the Swiss is that 'calm before the storm' game at Euro '96.

Wales. Wales. Wales. What more can be said? Former Northampton manager Rob Page will probably try playing Gareth Bale at right back so the less said about them the better to be honest.
