He details the methods and mindset he used and uses, such as the company of a K9 service dog and a moving-forward mentality, to continuously overcome his war-related challenges. </p><p>Joe currently sits on the board of directors for K9s For Warriors and is an advocate for the adoption of K9s to aid in healing from many of the traumas that military members commonly face.
