But Jesus gave us the remedy for this when he said that we should pray without ceasing, and that men should always pray and not give up. We have to persevere in those times when we feel like nothing is happening in our prayers.
And the reason that we get discouraged sometimes is because we listen to our human understanding, and our human minds, but the Bible says that we should trust in the Lord with all of our heart and lean, not on our own understanding. Proverbs 3:5
