Summary: Tension rises as Diem finally returns to rule over Lumnos, but only for a few days before she heads back out on the road to save Auralie from a prison cell in Fortos. Wanted for questioning and coups in all the realms, Diem, Luther, and Auralie take to the mountains of Montios where Diem discovers her mysterious parentage. With the true threat to Emarion unveiled, Diem is needed more than ever ... the only problem is she was killed on Couerile. This episode of Femme & Furious dives into part 3 of Heat of the Everflame by Penn Cole, where we get into messy family dynamics, mating bonds, and misogyny!

Summary: This episode of Femme & Furious dives into Glow of the Everflame (Penn Cole) chapters 16 - 30, where there is a funeral, an almost coup, a love confession, and a murder. Can the Universe give my girl Diem Bellator a break? While Diem grows more acclimated to her responsibilities as Queen, she grapples with her new life as a Descended, putting her at odds with almost everyone, Mortal and Descended alike. But even though she fumbles the color of her dress at Ulther's Funeral, she survives a dinner with the Corbois cousins, exists in a bubble of sexual tension with Luther, and actively avoids a coup from the Guardians. Unfortunately for her, enemies are vast, leaving her with a devastating murder at the end of this section.
