This month we’re delving even further into the world of virtual nursing. It sounds like a catch-all phrase, right-up there with “virtual wards”, but it's really about a very specific new approach to nursing practice that has swept the US and is now arriving in the UK – we hear from the founder of the Virtual Nursing Academy. We’re also catching up on the latest developments with agentic AI for wearables and how it might impact the paradigm shift to neighbourhood-based care. And we’re celebrating the podcast’s first anniversary - it’s been a whole year of supporting people with an interest in nurse tech, so today we’re marking the occasion by looking at one nurse’s inspirational career pathway through the world of digitally enabled care.
