But apprenticeships are growing in financial services or insurance, fields where finding new applicants can be challenging. While apprenticeships are new in the U.S., they are a common job path in other parts of the world, especially in Europe, where Zurich's parent company is based. An apprentice program provides on-the-job training and related schoolwork that puts students on a path to earn a degree. This January, the World Economic Forum released its 2023 Global Risks Report. The 18th annual report highlights the challenges of addressing immediate and long-term risks. For example, the number one risk in the next two years was identified as cost of living crisis, whereas the top risk over a 10-year timeframe was failure to mitigate climate change. The report which is produced in partnership with Zurich Insurance Group and Marsh McLennan, draws on the views of more than 1200 global risk experts, policy makers, and industry leaders. The report argues, among other things, that unless the world starts to cooperate more effectively on climate mitigation and climate adaption over the next 10 years, we will experience continued global warming and ecological breakdown.

We're so excited that the Zurich Classic of New Orleans returns to TPC Louisiana! On March 29th, we caught up with Zurich golf ambassador, Billy Horschel a day after his winning the Dell Technologies Match Play World Golf Championship. It marked his sixth career PGA tour victory. Billy has won the Zurich Classic both individually and in the team format in 2013 and 2018, respectively. 

TPC Louisiana is the host course for the annual Zurich Classic of New Orleans.
