Vitals for the End Times

The sacrifice, the abomination and the tribulation

In this episode Reggie and I take a deep dive into one part of Daniel's prophecy. In his prophecy of the 70 weeks, Daniel discusses how the sacrifice is stopped at the time of the abomination of desolation, half way through the final, 70th week. Daniel's 70 weeks and the Two Gaps

In this longer episode – nearly 3 hours – we're going to be talking about Daniel's 70 weeks as described in Daniel chapter 9:24-27. Reggie describes 2 gaps that can be understood in this prophecy and connects this to a number of passages. "All Israel Shall Be Saved" through the Prophets

In this episode we finish the conversation we started in episodes 1 through 3. In Romans 11:26 Paul talks about how All Israel shall be saved. Is this a new idea, or what do the prophets in the old testament have to say? Reggie is going to take us through a slew of scriptures in the prophets that support and give depth to Paul's summary in Romans 11.

As we will see, this brings up the topic of God's Sovereignty, his power over history. In his work with Israel, we see one of the deep patterns of God – how he brings us to the point where we realize our great need for him, see his love for us, and call upon him.

God's contention with Israel and the nations
