Do you realize God has emotions.

Do you ever ask God how He feels? Have you ever asked Him how did I make you feel when I did this?

Do you spend time in contemplation with God?

Can you identify your emotions? Realize God feels these same emotions on a much deeper level than you do.

I challenge you to look up bible verses that express God's emotions.

Read:

God's is Jealous. So much so His name is Jealous. See Exodus 34:14.

Also

Exodus 20:5, Deuteronomy 4:24 & 2 Corinthians 11:2. There are other verses as well.

You can grieve God by grieving the Holy Spirit. See Ephesians 4:30.

Can feels anger. See Deuteronomy 4:21 & 32:21 & Psalm 7:11.

God feels love which is what provokes Him to be jealous. He loves us that much. See John 3:16-17 about God's love.

There are many passages and verses about God's emotions. I challenge you to spend some time exploring more than what I have listed and look for them in your regular Bible reading.

Read Exodus 30:1-10; 35; 37:25-29 - Remember the people's life and daily work were about preparing and developing the sacrifices that they would offer at the Tabernacle. Every aspect of their life was about giving all of themselves to God so their worship would be an acceptable offering to the Lord.

John 4 (verses 22-24) - As a side note also pay attention to the food and water references that Jesus makes. I believe that the fact people would work and sacrifice and give the fruit of their labor as a sacrifice is an important aspect of worship. There are several passages that you can read that pertain to this.

Remember that we are set apart (consecrated) to walk in the Holy Spirit to glorify God and represent Him to a fallen world. Walking in His purity is an absolute for us to do that effectively. If we don't walk in His purity then we can't connect with Him as we need to so we can fulfill His will.

Episode 5 God Centered Process

Revelation 3:14-22

This will be part 1 of the process Jesus gave us to be able to connect to God.

The focus of this is verses 14-18a

In verse 18 which will be the focus is that Jesus gives us the first step of the process of connecting to God and that is by placing all of our faith in His truth. So before we can connect to God we have to embrace the Truth which only comes from Him. No matter how much anyone else claims a so called truth only Jesus has the real truth. This first step in this process is the most important part because without this we can't connect with God.

Challenge here is to ask God to reveal to you any beliefs, idealisms or so called truths that we attach ourselves to that are not in alignment with His Truth. Only God has the Truth. There is no other Truth. Jesus makes that abundantly clear here.

Our prayer is that the Holy Spirit will raise up disciples to do just this.  It’s important that being discipled does not mean you need to have some seminary degree or formal education.  Jesus chose people from all kinds of backgrounds from the most educated to the least educated and everything in between.  The calling of discipleship is for EVERY believer. 

The time of this calling for revival is NOW and the ground is now fertile in people's hearts for this Great Harvest to take place.  Join us as we embark on this leading to start connecting people to the Good News of Jesus Christ and teach others to do the same.  The focus is to plant disciples all over the world.  Just like some organizations do church plants we plant disciples.  This movement is about growing disciples in every state and every country in the world to spark and complete the Great Harvest, fulfill the Great Commission.  The Lord is calling us to do this and it’s up to all of us to respond in obedience.  

Here are ways to get involved: 

1) Join us in person at events to participate in teaching and sharing at a location near you. 

2) Join us online for online events and/or listen to us on the God Centered Concept Podcast each week as we deliver a message from our meetings. 

3) Request us to come to your area to help you start a group and be trained so you can start your own groups.

4) Be a financial partner with the movement by giving a one time or recurring gift on our website. 

5) Spread the word so more people will know about what we are doing so they can attend and/or get involved. 

Our mission is to reach people who are trying to find purpose and want to follow the calling to learn how to share their faith and reach others for Christ, needing to rededicate themselves to Christ, reach those who don't know Christ, are having a faith crisis and/or struggling with "church hurt." Jesus loves you and wants a relationship with you as well as He has a purpose and plans for you to help spread the Good News. It is all of our callings to fulfill the Great Commission, Matthew 28:18-20. Together let's finish what was started by Jesus and His disciples. 

Now go forth in total surrender to the One who owns and reigns over all creation and let the Great Harvest begin.
