Jacaerys is upset about the illegitimate children of Valyrian blood being offered dragons because he thinks it could threaten his succession. This is in stark contrast to the source material. Vermithor kills most of the dragonseeds until he gets to Hugh Hammer. Ulf is claimed by Silverwing then flies over King's Landing. Aemond gets on Vhagar and is in hot pursuit until he sees Rhaenyra with Syrax, Vermithor, and Silverwing. This episode had some great special effects mixed with some puzzling dialogue.

Ser Erryk Cargyll and Ser Arryk Cargyll search for Aegon, while Alicent has Ser Criston and Prince Aemond. Mysaria has Aegon is hiding in the Grand Sept. The Cargylls find Aegon, but lose him to Criston and Aemond after a fight. Lord Larys Strong warns Alicent that Talya is a spy afterwards, Larys burn Mysaria's house. Aegon is crowned king.
