Today, we're diving into one of the most foundational and often overlooked pillars of the Church: the domestic church.

What IS the domestic church? Simply put, it's the family. It's where faith is first taught, lived, and passed on, not in RE classes or homilies, but around dinner tables, bedtime prayers, car rides, and messy mornings. The domestic church is where saints are quietly formed, one ordinary day at a time.

But here’s the thing—no two domestic churches look the same. Some families pray the rosary together every night. Others are juggling sports schedules, noisy toddlers, and trying to remember where they left the Bible. Some homes have two parents, some are led by a single parent, and others are held together by grandparents, aunts, uncles, or foster care.

And yet, all of these families, in all their unique chaos and beauty, are called to be holy ground.

Our Different Personalities and Harmony

In this episode, the Guzman girls dive into their Myers Briggs personality profiles and talk whether we agree with them or not.

Stacy mentioned the Full of Grace Workshop and how it highlights that there is not one way to be feminine or holy. As long as we are modeling our femininity on Mary’s four actions in Luke’s gospel (Listen/Respond/Share/Serve) we can still be like Mary but have a very different personality. It’s important to note that there is not one “Holy” personality, that each of us is called to be holy in the way we were each created. It’s like harmony in music-so many different notes played well together create a beautiful sound: harmony!
