The Yankees Bullpen Is Not Good

The Yankees series against The Angels was a tough one, entertaining, but tough to watch. Yes we were able to split the series but what we saw brought to light was how ineffective our bullpen can be. The series really brought to the forefront how uncertain our middle and late inning guys really are on the mound.

Let's talk about that, let's talk about Ryan McMahon finally getting his 1st XBH of the season (a game winning 2 run HR) and what Paul O'Neil said about Ryan's swing. We'll talk about the fun we had watching Judge and Trout put on a master class and a whole lot more.

What Happened To The Yankees Offense?

We are only 8 games in for the 2026 Regular Season but The Yankees are looking like the team we've wanted them to be all along. They griding at the plate, they're not relying on the long ball, starting pitching seems to be living up to it's reputation. Are there still some things that need work? Yes, but overall they look fantastic. They're beating teams they should.

Yankees Baseball Is Officially Back

Spring Training games have officially started and I couldn't be happier about that. The Yankees started a little shaky in their 1st game but turned it on huge in their 2nd game. Not a whole lot of baseball stuff going on with The Yankees at the moment, there is some and that will be discussed on the show, but I thought I'd chime in on the GOAT discussion when it comes to the NBA this week.

Is it Jordan? Is it Lebron? I'd say the title of this episode gives my answer away at this point. But let's talk about the impact that Jordan had on the game when he played and how his presence is still felt many years later. If you're a LBJ fan and you listen, then open your mind and allow what I'm saying to be taken in with a common sense approach. Let your bias go and just listen.

Cal Raleigh Was Not Robbed of The A.L. MVP

As I predicted, Aaron Judge won the 2025 American League MVP. It was close but at the end of the day the right person won. Let's break down what I think happened and why Judge won the award. The American League MVP Conversation

What Cal Raleigh did this season was absolutely amazing and historic BUT so is what Aaron Judge did. The 2nd part of that sentence seems to be forgotten and not talked about all that much. Judge was able to do something that only 2 other MLB players have ever done in the history of the game. Yet all the conversations that you hear are about Cal hitting 60 HR's as a catcher. Amazing? Yes. MVP worthy? Sure, IF Aaron Judge didn't have the season that he had.

Yankees Are Exposed Once Again To End The Season

The 2025 season ends in the same fashion that the 2024 season did, with disappointment. The Yankees were exposed by The Blue Jays. They were out played in damn near every aspect of the game.

Changes need to happen this offseason. I'll talk about what changes I think we need to see. I'll break down the weaknesses of the offense, the coaching and more. Yes, I do have some positive things to say about the team but it's only about a few players. I'll also talk about the fans and their expectations.

The Yankees Move On To The ALDS

Will The Yankees Win The AL East

Aaron Judge Should Be The American League MVP

Time once again to chat about this past week in Yankees baseball. The team is looking much better, granted they're playing teams that aren't that "good" but they still need to win the games and so far, for the most part they are. Bullpen has looked better, at least some of the guys, they're scoring runs and playing better baseball.

Had to chime in on the A.L. MVP race which really isn't a race but that's what they want you to think. The "experts" say that it's between Judge and Raleigh but it's really not as close as they want you to think it is. I'll talk about that, break down some stats and also give my thought on hearing about "Aaron Judge fatigue".

The Mismanagement Of The Yankees

I lean heavy into how bad Aaron Boone is as the leader of this team. How badly he handles almost every situation on the field and off. His constant mistakes of playing guys that are injured and more. Anthony Volpe is just the latest example but he's done this to the team in the past.

The Yankees Are On A Roll But....

The Yankees have won every game they played this past week but they're doing it against teams they're supposed to beat (which is good btw) however we're headed into some really big series against teams that are above .500. There are some things that I've noticed that need to be addressed by the team, they won't be but they should, including what Anthony Volpe is doing at the plate. Yes, we've seen some production from him but his AB's still look like garbage. Pitching has looked better, Austin Wells is starting to hit again, Big G is a monster and Jazz has been very solid. Oh and I'll touch on my quick trip to Boston for a concert.

Colonie Basketball and Mike Keane

This episode was a very special one for me. I wanted to share my feelings that I have toward this years Varsity basketball team. They were able to do something that no other team in Colonie history was able to accomplish. I wanted to give them their flowers and let them know how much they mean to not only the school and the basketball program but also to the Colonie community. Then about 18 minutes into the show, Mike Keane, Colonie alumni and proud member of the community, joins the show. We talk about a lot of stuff going on in Colonie at the moment. Yes, we share a few stories about our time as a student at CCHS but we also discuss a number of great things that are happening with the school district. We also address the elephant in the room, we talk about the end of the "Raider" era and the start of the "Wolfpack" era. We even take the time to remind everyone what Colonie is all about and where our roots really are. Here's a hint, it's not in a mascot name.

It's a lengthy one but worth your time, trust me. I had a lot of fun recording this one for you. Please listen and enjoy.

Showing Love To Those That Mean The Most To Me

I don't think we do it enough in life. We should show love and support to those in our lives that are always there for us. For those that support us and cheer us on. So that's exactly what I did here. I give flowers to a few of the people in my life that mean the most to me. And I throw in a little "Fatherly" advice for my daughters.
