After beginning his career at Morgan Stanley in 1984, he spent 24 years at Merrill Lynch, retiring in 2018. Over the course of his career, he developed a deep passion for holistic financial planning, focusing on incorporating biblical wisdom into his advice. Kurt was instrumental in developing the first CFP Board-registered program that integrated biblical wisdom into the coursework. Through this program, graduates of Liberty’s program are prepared to pursue both the Certified Financial Planner™ and Certified Kingdom Advisor™ designations. Kurt is passionate about encouraging all students and emerging advisors to pursue biblical wisdom in their advising careers.
