Today my guest is a man who has faced adversity and challenges that would break most people. As a child growing up he had very little stability moving across the country several times before the age of 10. He was introduced to racism at an early age entering into all-white neighborhoods where he would be called, nigger, spick, cotton swab, etc. He watched his father sell hard drugs to produce a living for himself and his family. Without a positive male role model, he was raised on the streets. Started gang-banging at 12 and walked down a path that many don’t come back from. At 18 he received two gunshots to his leg and upon seeking revenge he landed himself In prison with a 30-year sentence. His sentence was later reduced however during his time in prison something changed him. He wanted another life and upon being released he began his journey into real estate starting first in construction. He gained more education, took more imperfect action, and now runs and operates a 7 figure operation showing that it doesn’t matter where you start if you make up your mind on where you are going.

Welcome to another episode of Into The Mind. Today my guest is one of the stock trading coaches from Tackle Trading, Emily Muiruri! Emily is a former student, speaker and mentor for the Rich Dad education course. She has travel the US sharing her knowledge of Real estate and Stocks. Emily trades the market full time now however when she started out she knew nothing about trades and had kids to raise at home.

In an effort to build a better life, Emily took her time and money and invested into herself. She would take her books and computers to the bathroom where she would lock herself away for periods of time in order to make the space to educate herself. As you can imagine life becomes much harder when you are a parent and entrepreneur at the same time.

Emily shows us that success really does start with a state of mind. If you want to be great you have to be willing to do what others won't. Emily now has a platform to teach women how to trade and in addition to that Emily works with the Sherlock's Home Foundation teaching homeless at risk youth how to trade so that they can afford to stay off the streets.

Meet Sharane Dorrah Real Estate Broker, Entrepreneur, Investor and creative finance expert. Learn about how in 2013 Sharane was diagnosed with chronic lymes disease which left her bed ridden for 4 years and forced her to sell off her portfolio of real estate in order to pay her medical bills.

To this day Sharane still deals with the illness and because of that she founded Peskys a fashionable clothing line with odorless insect repellant built into the fabric. Her company is on a mission to work with impactful organizations in the country that are making huge strides in the areas of awareness, advocacy, patient financial support, and scientific advances in diagnostics and treatment for vector-borne disease.

In This episode I sit down with one of my favorite professional Parkour Athletes Sydney Olson of Team Tempest. When Sydney was first on the show in 2019 we spoke about her future goals of taking the Parkour competition scene by storm. Since then she has placed first in Red Bull's Art of Motion, 1st In NAPC style and Skill comp. After doing so Sydney Went on to act as a consultant for Fox's new prime time TV show Ultimate Tag.

Not only was Sydney a paid consultant for the show helping to design the courses and game play, she also performed on the show as an athlete.
