Family members who had not been in the same room in eight years reconciled. Grandparents met grandchildren for the first time. The Holy Spirit showed up because they refused to take Him out.
God delivered Erika from alcohol and marijuana without a program, without effort, without a fight. She put it down because He asked her to. Two years sober. No pull, no desire. Just Jesus.
The spirit of mammon shows up in fornication the same way it shows up in tithing. When you stay in sexual sin because moving out is too expensive, you are saying God cannot provide. When you skip your tithe because money is tight, you are saying the same thing. Erika learned both lessons and obeyed through both.
Erika's closing prayer is one for the books -- she prays specifically over every woman listening who is holding onto a relationship, a timeline, finances, or an identity, and calls them to hand it all to a God who will return it restored, renewed, and reconciled.

Admiration versus obsession. Appreciating a teacher is fine. Needing them for every "word," constantly quoting them over Scripture, feeling unsettled when they're not in your ear, that's crossed into bewitchment. Acts 5 with Ananias and Sapphira shows where false loyalty leads. It is never benign.
Fear of the Lord is the antidote. Not anxiety. Awe. The kind of holy reverence that keeps you more loyal to Jesus Christ of Nazareth than to any leader, anointing, or movement. Discernment is downstream of that.

Hi Everyone , I'm Sarah Turner. I am originally from Missouri, USA... but call New Zealand home, as I've lived her for 17 years with my husband, Steve, whose originally from Tauranga. We've been married 17 years this year and have 2 beautiful children.
