• In Lebanon, the death toll after 2 months is now 2,659, with 8,183 people injured, another 41 in the last 24 hours. Israeli forces also killed 7 in Gaza in the last 24 hours with their current death toll since October 7, 2023 to 72,608. Since their so-called ceasefire in October, 828 people have been killed. Israel has also just carried out further air attacks in Lebanon and set fire to a number of houses

Iran has sent over a new proposal

- The Dept of Defense has signed agreements with SpaceX, OpenAI, Google, Microsoft, Nvidia, Amazon Web Services, and Reflection to integrate their AI models into the military. Note that Anthropic was excluded. Hegseth wants the US military to be an “AI first fighting force”

Under the War Powers Act of 1973, the President must terminate the use of Armed Forces in hostilities within 60 days of notifying Congress of military action unless Congress declares war, authorizes the use of military force, or grants a 30-day extension. Senator Adam Schiff of California is introducing the 6th war powers resolution tomorrow
