There is a book launch at the Family Library on Saturday 12th Feb from 10.30am into the afternoon. Called "the Dragon, Princess and Knight Extravaganza", there will be dragons everywhere! Also fancy dress, face painting, crafts and games. Young illustrator Karmen St John Cain and author Robert will be signing copies of the book and Isle Listen will be there supporting the event.

Christy caught up with two experts in the field: Dr Ella Russell, a highly experienced Private GP with specialist expertise in menopausal and peri-menopausal health and Dr Paula Briggs, Chair Elect of the British Menopause Society. Both shared excellent advice and discussed various treatments, groups, online applications and personal approaches that could make that menopause that bit more manageable.

Christy catches up with Pippa Lovell from foraging restaurant 'Versa' - winner of the San Pellegrino Young Chef Sustainability award for Europe and Forbes 30 Under 30.  She is creating a new art hub and community space which is still in the process of created but launches in July and opens very soon in the South of the Island.

It's an exhibition space for artists, workshops, henna art on Sundays, kids can come in and rent easels, there’s vegan snacks, a library of different loose leaf teas (like a pick and mix) fair-trade coffees and British cocoa.

37 years after the first sale took place in the family living room, the Newtons will continue the tradition this weekend (Oct 29th to 31st), this despite the sudden and unexpected passing of Malcolm earlier this year.
