Compliment yourself? Point out all the things you admire about yourself?

Or are you afraid of being ‘full of yourself’? Getting complacent?

Most people love getting great feedback from others. But what about from yourself?

Why does praising yourself make you a better leader?

In this episode I share three reasons why praising yourself is an important element in being a grounded, courageous and successful leader. We are not talking fake compliments or self-arrogance. This is something entirely different.

Listen to explore what happens and becomes possible for you when you start praising yourself more, and remembering you are worthy.

“No one likes a needy person. It’s just not attractive. And there is no leader power in being needy. It's important to praise ourselves so we don't need it from others. When you work damn hard on a project, it's important that you tell yourself, “Well done. I'm so incredibly proud of you,” because then you don't need it from others. It's nice if they notice and take the time to say it, but it's important not to need it. Because then you’re not in your power. If you want to show up and lead with impact, filling yourself up with praise is really important.”

Come over to https://noominatan.com/everything for all the freebies, all the courses, memberships and the one-to-one coaching – and don’t forget to subscribe to my newsletter while you’re there!

And remember, now is a good time to breathe.

How often do you praise yourself?

And remember, now is a good time to breathe.

https://noominatan.com/ep57-3-reasons-why-praising-yourself-makes-you-a-better-leader/

<itunes:image href="https://artwork.captivate.fm/42f9a87b-88b0-4961-9479-473459f01f31/XZ8WuZES2qa03Iuh1RpDunYy.jpg"/>
Noomi Natan

<itunes:duration>16:59</itunes:duration><itunes:explicit>false</itunes:explicit><itunes:episodeType>full</itunes:episodeType><itunes:episode>57</itunes:episode><podcast:episode>57</podcast:episode><itunes:author>Noomi Natan</itunes:author>

[EP 56] How to be in control
<itunes:title>How to be in control</itunes:title>

Do you like to feel like you’re in control?

What do you fear might happen if you’re not in control?

Are you holding life tightly – and shutting yourself off from surprises and new possibilities, ideas, innovations?

Our world is fast.

As we’ve learned over the past couple of years, anything could happen at any moment.

We can’t control what’s on the outside of us.

But we can learn to feel in control in our INNER world, and then we can handle the pace of life better.

It’s time to slow down, ground yourself, and be in your inner calm. Your confidence and your feelings about who you are in the world plummet. But when the power is inside of you and you can tap into it, you can feel your power, no matter what goes on around you.

There are plenty of people who manage to be successful, that don't do their inner work. But they usually break a little (or probably a whole lot) along the way. They might break their relationships, their health, their finances.

If you want to be successful from the inside out, lead for something bigger than yourself, and you want to enjoy the journey at the same time, you need to tap into your inner power.

In this episode I share the three parts that make up your inner power: the systemic, the intuitive, and the practical.

Systemic: you are not living and working independently of every one around you and of everything you came from. You are massively impacted, shaped, and bound by where you come from and what you were born into.

Intuitive: if you want to be a faster, better, more brilliant decision maker, you’ve got to strengthen your intuition and allow something more than your conscious human intellect to guide you. Practice connecting with your intuition and inner guidance daily, until you trust yourself more than you trust anyone or anything else.

Practical: Inner power also comes from your practical habits.

It comes from how you show up, how you carry yourself and how you speak. A huge part of the practical piece is knowing your values, who you are, and what you are for. What are you for in the world? What do you care about more than you care about your own fear? What matters to you more than your fear of being judged your fear of getting it wrong?

Listen now and discover how you can tap into your inner power - and enjoy success from the inside out.

If you're curious about inner power, make sure you go to my home page and subscribe to my newsletter so you can be the first to know about anything new coming up from me. And check out my Role Model Your Way course too, because that is the perfect place to work on your systemic, intuitive and practical inner power.
