Over the course of her creative life, Steph has worked as a hairdresser in Soho, London, spent more than a decade writing for television, created public murals and community arts projects, and developed her practice as a ceramic artist. Through Vivat Matriarchia, she has brought these experiences together to create a reimagined matriarchal world complete with its own artefacts, mythology, history, and artistic legacy. Today's guest is Ulysses Owens Jr., drummer, educator, and bandleader. A three-time Grammy Award winner, Ulysses is one of the most respected drummers in jazz today.
