How can one embrace both of these sensations simultaneously? 

This was the space Jenny Weaver and I entered into as we began our songwriting session. We embodied the empathy for the "loss of freedom" that motherhood can bring while also embodying the unconditional love that must enter a mother as they honor the being born unto them.
