It's heroine, Hester Prynne, is subject to discrimination and ostracization because of her past mistakes and has no one to turn to in the harsh new world that she's been thrust into. It's a heartbreakingly beautiful story, and we've paired it with a heartbreakingly beautiful song: Guilded cage by Blackmore's Night.

Arwen, the elf princess from Tolkien's magnum opus The Lord of the Rings, has a choice to make within the story. Does she go with her father to Valinor and live forever in peace, or does she stay with the man she loves and help him create a new world, at the expense of her own mortality? It's a tough descicion to make, and Alphaville acidentally captured her struggle perfectly in the lyrics of their song Forever Young.
