How is your prayer life? Too often some people get caught in the false narrative that in order to pray to our Sovereign and Glorious God, that we need to have a PhD in Theological Vocabulary. The simple truth is, when we pray, we are not approaching God like we are lawyers in God's courtroom and we need fancy wording to establish our case.

God simply wants us to talk to Him, as a child to their father.

There is no word so complex.... or too simple... that our Father does not comprehend or understand.

Have you ever found yourself locked out of your car because in your rush, you accidently left the keys in it? If you have family with a spare key, you can call them to bring it to your location.... If you have AAA or a service like that, you can call them, and they'll send someone to get into your car for you... At that point, the only hassle is the waiting not the worry.

However, the lady in our story today was in a rush, and waiting for a family member AAA wouldn't cut it on this day, she had a sick girl at home. However, help is on the way.... From an "expert".

When God spoke about the coming Messiah, people expected never before seen royalty and splendor. A king worthy of the name.... Yet Jesus, wasn't what they expected.... but.... He was MUCH MORE!

What does God's word have to say about who teaches His love the best?

This episode involves a lot of voice breaking at certain moments, but is not an audio problem. The lesson today was difficult to deliver. The first thought was to rerecord with a much clearer voice, but the decision was to leave in the audio as is... because its a message of sincerity and honesty, and a true tribute to a wonderful person.

One of the most tragic events in the history of the US military happened on October 23, 1983. Hezbollah killed 241 U.S. military personnel in a terrorist bombing of the Marine Corps barracks in Beirut, Lebanon. Minutes later, a second suicide bomber also killed 64 others that included French paratroopers and innocent Lebanese civilians.

Out of the horror of this event and the aftermath comes a story of one particular soldier's vow to always be faithful, Semper Fi.
