She is an advocate for both women in STEMM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and medicine) and the importance of the Arts and humanity in these fields. Amelia Travers (avidresearch.com.au, IG: @amaltr42) is a storyteller, avid tinkerer, and an enthusiast for connection in the tech and science communities. As the founder of Avid Research and Traverse Maps, and co-host of NepoPod, she has carved out unique platforms that celebrate and elevate diverse Australian STEM careers, as well as personal and community projects including #SciCommSeptember. Her work is at the intersection of technology, art, and social engagement, where she uses podcasts and cartographic art to weave together narratives that highlight the interconnectedness of our journeys.
