Chris overcame numerous hurdles and setbacks to finally take up his seat in the cockpit of the Apache.

Having then served three operational tours with the Apache Force in Afghanistan and with new family priorities, Chris moved into the pilot seat of a Puma helicopter, flying with the Royal Air Force.
