Eight months ago, two amateur podcasters set out to predict what the 2023-2024 NFL season would look like....those fools! In the final episode of the season, Hulmy & Kad look back on their predictions discussing how much has changed and see how accurate their forecasts were.

The boys look back on their favourite characters of the year on and off the field. They hand out the Inaugural Onside Punt Awards, joined by a special guest, and they answer YOUR questions about this years results.

This is the last episode of the season, and we bloody loved every second of it. We want to thank our special guests for speaking with us throughout the year, and most of all, you, our listeners and supporters. There are few stories like Darren Bennett's.

After a successful AFL career, as the leading goal-scorer for Melbourne, Bennett's football journey was not over. Finding his way to the NFL, Bennett not only established himself as a legend of the league, but redefined the position of Punter.

Going on to become a San Diego Chargers Hall of Famer, 2 x Pro Bowl Player and First Team All-Pro, Bennett was recognised by the great John Madden in the All-Madden Team of 1996.

These awards and achievements are however, not what makes Darren Bennett a rarity. His gratitude and passion for the game, compels him to look ahead to the future of the sport, in supporting and developing the young men looking to follow the path that, Bennett himself, unknowingly cleared for them.
