(146) The HONEST UGLY TRUTH about Up-levelling

It can be so challenging to document this journey - especially in real time. We are working through things, understanding what makes us tick, what works, what doesn't, what drains us, what lights us up, what feels good, what doesn't...the list goes on. It's a very vulnerable and rae place to be.

This episode is a giant "word vomit" episode. Micki gets real on her lovingly deemed "Our Manifestation Sh*t Show" and admits that this path is not always linear. She has started working 1:1 with Skylar on her money mindset, and man has it ever muddied the waters. Feelings of extreme self-hatred have surfaced (which has never happened before) and it does NOT feel good. She also confesses her struggles around being a new-mom again, and how hard that can make things. Listen as Micki ponders her potential remedies for this interesting time in her life and stay tuned for her inevitable revelations.

As so often happens on this show, Sam offers her ear as a very generous soundboard and discusses the MAGIC that has resulted in her mastering of The Alignment Method. (143) Sam's Magically Manifested Trip to Colorado

Here it is! This episode is dedicated to Sam's experience in her amazingly manifested, totally last minute, seemingly impossible, random, spontaneous and totally fabulous getaway to Colorado!

Sam had this impulse to reach out to a member of her @thehostingsociete community, and suddenly she was planning a photoshoot in Colorado for THE FOLLOWING WEEKEND! Like, how?! She doesn't have the money for flights. She's not sure how she will get there or how she can actually make this happen. But she did have one thing...her newly developed ALIGNMENT METHOD. This method caused Sam to be able to regulate her nervous system and relax when she thought about moving forward with this quick manifestation.

Turns out, this method is magic!

With a relaxed nervous system, Sam put herself into the vibration to make the impossible suddenly possible. The flight was paid for, the photographer showed up without travel fees, and the owner of the cabin graciously waved her fee for Sam to stay with her friend Raechelle for two nights.

This was such an amazing moment on OMJ. Through pure coincidence, Sam received the same message from two different energy healers within a week! And Missy was one of them.

Missy is an Energy Healer and Transformation Guide. She works with empathic souls all over the world to clear their limiting beliefs, trapped emotions, and other energy blocks so they can show up authentically as their whole, radiant, and worthy selves. She is on a mission to help others reach their highest potential by teaching practical energy tools and techniques and bringing energy work mainstream.

It was so incredible to watch Missy perform her magic on Sam in real time. Using muscle memory techniques and tapping into Sam's childhood experiences, Missy assisted Sam in helping to clear energy blocks in her body. In her exploration, she found that our ancestral energy has been causing blocks for us. So it looks like we will be having our Mom join us on the show to clear these blocks with Missy in the future...(stay tuned for that!).

After 3 1/2 years, we have FINALLY figured out a method for getting ourselves into the right FREQUENCY for our desires. You guys...we did it. We cracked the code!

This episode is SO FUN.

Sam explains the wild and SUPER EXCITING manifestation that is currently manifesting. Like, right now. If you're following on Instagram, you will have seen by now that Sam has manifested this EPIC experience to stay at an iconic short term rental in Colorado, US. She did this having no idea HOW it was going to happen, but she manifested the EXACT amount of money, support and resources she needed to make it happen. It's insane.

Ok so, how did she do it?

Sam has developed a specific formula using three books (see below) that answers the question of how to regulate your nervous system in real time. We know that the subconscious controls 95% of our beliefs and as a result, our vibration. There are many modalities that can be used to regulate this like hypnotism, RRT, Reiki etc. (which are all very important!). But what about the rest of the time? What can you do with your conscious thoughts to help support and regulate your nervous system when you are trying to call something in or level up? HAPPY BIRTHDAY SAM (aka BAE - Best Aunt Ever!)

Our episode this morning starts off with a couple of impromptu surprise guests!

We celebrated Sam's birthday this morning with a 4-year old planned birthday party. Complete with a space theme, completing all birthday events in 20 mins and eating cake for breakfast! It was play at it's finest.

Then, Sam shares all of her realizations from being stuck in bed with Strep Throat for the last week, and they are revolutionary. Tune in to consider these very interesting insights...

1) Has paranoia been responsible for your lack and scarcity?

2) Do you "pretend" enough? What if we just "pretend" it's all happening? Take away the expectations of the outcome, and just pretend for the hell of it! It's fun! Try it.

3) Line up with what you feel like doing. Let go of the "shoulds" and do what you love, and see what happens. It could be very healing for you.

Right after this experience, she stayed with a family friend in one of the wealthiest neighbourhoods in the world. To say this polarizing contrast sent Micki's head for a spin is an understatement. She literally developed vertigo from the overwhelming thoughts in her head...

What is all of this meant to teach? It is to remind us to stop "trying" so hard and to just be. Be where you are, be present, be grateful, be emotional, be here, be you. Authentically. Right now. In this moment. And Let that be enough.

As Micki has changed her environment, she has put herself in the prime position to receive inspired thought (it's a projector thing - human design). Listen in on her thoughts on betrayal, procrastination and asking for help - and how these themes are present in Sam's life right now too!

(126) Micki's Final Birth Story - A Lesson in the Art Of Surrender

Surprise! He's here! And 3 weeks early!

If you have been following along on Instagram, you'll know Micki has been pulling all the stops to turn this baby from breech to head down - acupuncture, moxibustion sticks, inversion positions, visualizations, meditation and even an ECV (External cephalic version - a procedure that tries to turn a breech baby into a head-down position by physically moving the baby inside her uterus) and she wasn't stopping there. She had booked a chiropractic appointment, reiki, an immersion spa and even more acupuncture.

Despite Micki's hardest efforts to control how her third (and final) baby boy entered this world, he had very different plans. Listen in as Micki and Sam account for baby Hugh's very quick arrival here on planet Earth, how Micki is coping and what her thoughts are looking back on the entire experience.

Ultimately, letting go of expectations and allowing the Universe to take the wheel was her saving grace. Trusting that this little soul knows how and when he wants to enter this world was the best solution for Micki and her attempt to control the situation.

We hope you enjoy this story. It's an emotional one, but it is filled with so many lessons - in particular - how to fully surrender.

The catch? You have to keep playing the game! And seeing it this way. Do not let where you have been dictate where you are going. The world around you, your current circumstances, your current reality, has NO bearing or weight as to where you are going. The possibilities of the future are endless, so just keep playing the game. See yourself as a player with challenges, skills to build, doors to unlock and levels to complete.

Everything is always working out for you. You are at the perfect level. Keep playing the game and before you know it, the next level will magically unlock and you will be ready to challenge the next level!

Micki manifested a trip to the DR! And not in a way that you would expect...

This trip was definitely in the stars for Micki. Somehow, the Universe conspired all around her to make it happen. She didn't lift a finger, and suddenly, she was in sunny DR with a pina colada in her hand wondering "how did I get here?"

Micki here - currently sitting on the beach at the end of our trip (organized by my incredible husband), filled with clarity, gumption, excitement and gratitude. Somehow I made it here. I made it to this beautiful place that fully supported me and my new money mindset downloads. I meditated, I read, I journaled, and I have discovered a new way of understanding my energetic relationship with money. And I know it wouldn't have been possible without this trip. Surrounded by beauty, sunshine, ocean, palm trees, and luxury. I am beyond excited to share what I have learned with all of you and even more excited about my relationship with money into the future. 2023 - the year of abundance! I am so ready. And I would be honoured if you would join me!

(117) How To Deal With Your Ego When It Tries to Drag You Down

It's time for another vulnerable moment with Micki...and she shares some things...

During this new journey of consistent meditation, we have been met with all kinds of contrast; Moments of struggle that cause us to choose a path forward and ultimately, give us more clarity on our journey.

During one particular meditation, Micki was met with her (and everyone's) nemesis...her ego. It dragged her down and overwhelmed her with doubt, shame, guilt and frustration. The same habitual thoughts that have been causing her to feel this way have come back...and it's getting repetitive and irritating. Luckily, Micki has documented this meditation and emotions with you, and shares how she was able to combat her thoughts with a specific de-bunking journaling technique. Listen in as Micki recalls this emotional rollercoaster over a few days, which even resulted in tripping down the stairs & multiple breakdowns (don't worry, she's totally fine!).

Later in the episode, Sam shares her experience in healing from her own self-sabotaging thoughts around her dreams/desires with her business and finally asks for a sign from the Universe...which she receives HOURS LATER! And it blew her mind!

Cory Firth and Caitlyn Chisamore are visionaries in the social wellness space. They are such a beautiful couple and we are so excited to introduce them to you:

Cory is a human-impact community builder, communications entrepreneur and plant medicine advocate who has spent the last 5 years building communities in the mental health and wellness space. After a 20 year battle with depression, he has committed his career to a vision where the stigmatization of mental illness is replaced with compassion, transformation and community connection. As a conscious breathwork guide, integration coach and the former Executive Director of the Canadian Psychedelic Association, Cory is passionate about collaborating with other advocates to expand education, equity and psychedelic access at home and abroad.

Caitlyn’s personal journey of healing inspired her to pursue training in yoga and mindfulness, somatic therapy and art, to assist others on their path to wholeness, vitality and joy. She completed her 500 hour trauma-informed yoga teacher training in Toronto at YogaSpace, holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from OCAD University, and is currently training in Somatic Trauma therapy. Caitlyn’s gentle approach is accessible and she encourages you to honour yourself. She aims to promote a deeper sense of embodied presence, and connection with the self.

We all have bad days where it feels like nothing is working. We all have those moments of anxiety, insecurity, doubt, stress, and frustration. Moments where you tink you're doing it wrong, or worse, that this stuff is useless and doesn't work at all.

It is working. You are doing it!

Don't you dare even think about giving up.

It is meant for you. Everything you desires is designed specifically for you.

How do we know? Because you desire it. And that is enough.

(114) Our LIFE-CHANGING Identity Shifts from Consistent Meditation

Meditation. You must be so sick of hearing how important it is for you, how good it is for you and how much it has a positive impact on your life...but it's true!

We know. It's so annoying. But honest to goodness...it's true! Sam has started a meditation group called The Sway Club, and it has having a profound impact on both of our lives. Even though Micki is not in the group, she has felt a shift in her motivation to meditate as well- and it is causing an actual IDENTITY shift for both of us.

This is such a key point of understanding how important your commitment to all of this work is. When you start on your manifestation journey, you need to the commitment of a "better" life. You need to commit to the long term. It's a long game. And you need to be in it for the long haul.

When you commit to this way of being, you commit to an identity shift. You commit to a new way of seeing the world. New behaviours, new thought patterns, new experiences and a constant evolution and growth. This does not mean that every day is easy. It does NOT mean that the journey is linear - at all - it is the opposite of that. It is all over the place and very messy.

However, if you decided to stay consistent, if you decide to immerse yourself in a new way of behaving, you will shift your momentum in the direction you are used to going, and build on COMPOUNDED ENERGY. And this compounded energy will seep into other areas of your life.

So what is the most powerful thing you can do to create an identity shift?

MEDITATE. MEDITATE. MEDITATE.

Meditation offers so many benefits to you. We grew up hearing about and watching the Haynes sisters from afar, so to have them as guests on the show is a bit of a "pinch me" moment. If you are looking for some inspiring kick-ass, female empowered stories...you've come to the right place.

The Haynes sisters need no introduction if you are from the Kingston area. However, for those of you who are not local, here is a little glimpse into who/what they are all about. After a beautiful afternoon of enjoying charcuterie and quality time together, we sit down with Heather and Whitney who share their respective journeys from dream to manifested success.

Heather Haynes began her artistic career in 1995 after studying Visual Arts at McMaster University in Hamilton, Canada. In 2005, she entered the gallery circuit and since then has had the opportunity to show work in galleries and exhibits throughout North America. A fierce vexation in gender inequality took Haynes to one of the world’s most despairing places, The Democratic Republic of Congo. There, she witnessed the impact of unspeakable cruelty and systemic injustices at every turn. She vowed to help in whatever way she could, intent on finding an accessible avenue. Haynes continues creating social justice art, as her current work tackles issues of gender inequality. She believes that the most certain way for our world to recover environmentally, economically and socially, is to support, empower, and educate young girls; and yet females continue to face inequality, violence and fear, especially in developing countries.

Whitney Haynes was a jewelry designer and silversmith based out of Kingston, Ontario. Primarily self-taught, Haynes pursued her interest in becoming a maker while simultaneously working as a consumer product developer and buyer in Toronto. With a large leap of faith she, and her husband, moved their family to Kingston where she began to focus on her jewelry making full-time. Whitney is now retired and lives in Gananoque with her husband. She focuses her efforts in growing Heather's founded charity, The Art Of Courage.

Although both of their paths were different; Heather always choosing to follow her calling and Whitney choosing the safer corporate route before finding her joy in jewellery, they both did answer the call and are beautiful examples of what happens when you believe in yourself and pursue your passion.

Well, this is not how we pictured celebrating 3 years of OMJ...but here we are!

There is so much to be grateful for, but we really want to thank YOU. Thank you for your love and support, always, but especially in the last few weeks.

In this episode, Micki tells the whole story about her 4 year-old son George going to the hospital, and what it was like to surrender to the whole experience. The biggest lesson? There is immense power in prayer. Through intention and remote healing, it is our belief that George was healed by the power of this community. When the doctors told us to expect the worst, we were able to change his results overnight and he was sent home to heal.

There were so many blessings in our experience. The health care team, the hospital room conditions, the love and support from family and friends, and the beautiful messages from ALL OF YOU. If you make it to the end of this episode, listen for your name on the extensive list of people who reacted out. (If we missed you, we apologize. Please know that we saw and felt the power of your message, deeply. It did not go unnoticed).

We go about out day and don't even think about it. Get up, make some coffee, have a shower, brush your teeth, get the kids ready for school, go to work, go to the grocery store, come home, make dinner, get the kids ready for bed, read a book, lights out. Do it all again.

What would happen if you changed it? What would happen if you decided to put yourself in a brand new environment? We will tell you what would happen: you would interrupt your default thought patterns and open yourself up to a new way of existing. Re-define who you believe yourself to be. Open up to new opportunities, new relationships, new connections and new divine pathways.

It requires quite a potent cocktail of ingredients to make this happen. Commitment to your expansion & up-levelling, bravery, vulnerability, willingness to make mistakes, and a driven vision of what you want for your future.

In this episode we talk about Micki's transition back to "reality" after spending so much time on a film set (her happy place). Not to say that her reality, is bad, it's actually far from it. But it is her default thoughts or lack and scarcity begin to seep back in when she is back into her routine. Luckily, she has all the tools, tips and tricks to help her stay in alignment (that we are teaching YOU this coming week in our Becoming a Conscious Manifester Course).

We also chat about our hate for small talk, how we struggle with our presence on social media, how our profile's affect how we show up in social situations and what we think is horribly wrong with our school system and how we are "supposed" to learn. At the end of the day, we realize how important being exposed to people and the outside world is to our expansion, and it is our hope that you gain a bit of motivation to share you gift with others, ideally as soon as possible - like today...like right now.

Your subconscious mind is a very impressionable thing. It is always taking in everything around you. What you say, what others say, your environment, and what you consume. Whether this be music, movies, books, shows, podcasts, the news, etc., it is important to be very mindful of what you consume on a daily basis. Be aware of how the content you consume makes you feel.

Listen, we are all for a sad song or a scary movie when the mood strikes and it gives you a healthy outlet to release an emotion. However, if you are constantly being inundated with content that makes you depressed, stresses you out, or makes you operate on autopilot constantly, notice your habits and consider changing them. Be aware of how they affect your vibration and and maybe try choosing to consume something else today.

Your vibration is the most important part of your evolution and self care. Be a conscious creator of your experience. All you have is now. So how will you be here, now?

(107) What It FEELS Like to FINALLY Manifest Your Desires- Don't Give Up!

Another OMJ Milestone!! Yay!

Micki has been wanting to be on a proper film set since she was a little girl, and this week, she manifested it. In this episode, Micki spills the beans on her experience as a script supervisor on the 1st hyper-local Kingston, Ontario film, Den Mother Crimson. Working 10 hour days (with a 1.5 hour commute each way) with a steep learning curve, surrounded by industry professionals, and feeling the pressure to perform in a high-stakes environment, Micki is in the thick of it and loving every moment! She is finally living out what she has been calling in for as long as she can remember and it feels both logical, normal and right as well as mind-blowing, humbling and surreal.

Simultaneously (like literally on the same day that Micki wept with gratitude), Sam was living out her own beautiful manifestation. She hosted some local female business owners to our home @pykefarms to take photos for their businesses with @amediasocial. Hosting these amazing women in the space that Sam has designed in order to help them elevate their brand and ultimately make more money, was an absolute dream come true. It caught Sam a bit off guard and it was such a delicious surprise from the universe.

Our message to you today? Don't give up. KEEP GOING! Your manifestations are calling you. Your desires desire you back! You are meant to live the life you dream about. So go get it!

(106) From Plumber to Sound Healer - Answering The Call with André Lalonde

*This interview starts with a sound bath. If you can find yourself in a quiet spot, allow these sounds to wash over you and clear your chakras. It is a really grounding and beautiful experience.*

André Lalonde was your average, French Canadian plumber. He was going through life the way we all do - with good intentions but feeling confused, frustrated and lost. When his father's health took a turn for the worst, André turned to the heavens for support. From this moment forward, what he experiences is unbelievable. He is met with crazy coincidences, visualizations, synchronicities and profound realizations. On his journey, he has his first experience with singing bowls in Bali, to then sinking into meditation once returning home to following a visualization that lead to living in an ashram in the Himalayan mountains of Nepal.

André now practices sound healing in the Kingston area, with plans to eventually move back Bali with his partner (and very dear friend of ours and human design coach, Korinna) and open a retreat centre. If you would like to schedule a private sound healing session or book a group sound bath, you can find him on Instagram. Life force energy exists EVERYWHERE and makes up all living things on earth. A seed has all of the data to turn into a tree. A sperm and an egg have all the ingredients to make a baby. Life is growing and evolving all around us all the time. Yet, we as cute little tiny humans, think we have control over every aspect of our lives. Spoiler Alert. We don't.

This energy is UNIVERSAL. It CREATES WORLDS. It is all powerful. It is super-intelligence. What if we just allowed this energy to do its thing? What if we just trusted that it knows what it's doing? And in the mean time...our job is to have fun, follow the clues and play along!

And even if you have moments of feeling stagnant. Like no matter what you do your desires aren't manifesting, just know that's impossible. You are always growing, always evolving. You are the creator who decides what you want, how you think and feel about the world, and Source gets to surprise you with the rest. TRUST that you are always evolving to to your greatest expression. The Universe has your back.

Leanne Bennet is a 5/1 Mental Projector, mom of 4 grown kids, wife to an ex-Brit who lives in Southern US, Centerville Georgia precise location. She was studying Human Design (11 line 1’s in Human Design) when she was urged to try Gene Keys. “Not until I finish with Human Design!” When she realized that was an impossible feat, she ordered the 64 Ways by Gene Keys author and founder, Richard Rudd, by mistake. She meant to order the 64 oz water bottle from Amazon! So when the book turned up instead of the water bottle, she took it as a sign from the Universe and dove in!

We have only just found gene keys and it has been yet another game changer in our spiritual evolution. SO many answers, SO much clarity, and SO much peace has come from the very small amount of information we have gathered from this amazing modality. It's honestly mind-blowing.

Leanne is so incredible. Her story from living as a baptist preacher's wife, to getting a divorce and renouncing it all, to becoming an atheist, to finally finding and resonating with gene keys, is as fascinating as it is inspiring. Leanne is so magnetic in every sense of the word. We loved learning from her and spending time with her, and we know you will too.

Stop. Take a breath. Look around.

How often are you present in your day? Can you be present in this moment? Right now? Try it. What do you see? Hear? Feel? Smell? Taste? How does this FEEL? Good right? THIS is how life is supposed to feel.

We can get so bogged down and distracted with our current reality. Our daily default thoughts, beliefs and behaviours are based on our past experience and that is what dictates our future. HOWEVER, if you can be aware of your current thoughts, let them surrender to the present moment and allow the power of NOW to allow you to live in a state of gratitude and appreciation, you will allow life's natural life force energy to flow through you and manifest with ease. You enter a state of genuine abundance (which is what we are in our natural state), which then allows for everything you are manifesting to enter your life with little resistance. You have the ability to CHOOSE how you want to feel in this moment. And make it your current reality.

So choose. Right now. To allow. To breathe. To take it all in. To be grateful for everything life has given you. To witness life in all of its beauty and know, deeply, that Source has a beautiful plan for you.

Sit. Be. Breathe.

Lots of realizations in this one folks!

The last few weeks have been so serendipitous (aren't they always?). There has been so much moving, shifting, transition, confusion, frustration and CLARITY! It always seems that the right teacher, course, book, conversation, podcast episode, instagram post, tv show etc. comes into your reality RIGHT when you need it. This has definitely been the case for Sam the past few weeks. She has been handed so many beautiful nuggets of wisdom and validation as to why she was so "devastated" by her failed expectations. Sam walks through the books she has been reading and how they have helped her understand (see below), and she discusses how uncovering her gene keys has given her SO much CLARITY! And that living her life authentically to who SHE really is, has been a major missing ingredient to her success.

Tune in to hear about our recent private retreat (and Sam's new channeled message from Micki), Sam shares in detail about what she is reading and learning, our amazing experience with gene keys, and listen to a beautiful account of a very special event that both Micki and Sam attended called Art and Soul. This event was hosted by the Haynes sisters, Heather and Whitney for their charity, The Art of Courage. At this event, they hosted a breath work session and viewing of the film that Micki assistant directed called "The Common Thread." Talk about worlds colliding! It's so fun how the Universe works! We were blown away by the beauty and synchronicities of this event and we can't wait to share them (and Micki's EPIC visualizations) with you.

FIRST, we want to say THANK YOU! Thank YOU. So much. For downloading. For listening. For supporting us. For engaging. For messaging. For encouraging us to keep going. For showing up. For pressing play. And for joining us on Our Manifestation Journey.

We are SO excited to have Bev Pyke on the show with us today. Bev is Micki's mother in law (Mason's Mom - and if you know anything about the amazing man Mason is, just wait until you meet his mother!). Bev is an amazing mother, wife, sister, mother-in-law, friend and incredible support system for both of us OMJ sisters. She has been certified as a Reiki Master, studied Ayurvedic medicine, travelled to many Abraham Hicks workshops, studied Shamanism, taken countless seminars and courses on self development, is currently studying Human Design and will be taking a trip with Theo and Sheila Gillette to Egypt on October! Needless to say, she has DONE the work.

As our personal and lovingly dubbed "Oprah", Bev is the reason we started on Our Manifestation Journey. She was giving us the books and leading us to the teachers for about 10 years before we finally payed attention and followed the breadcrumbs. Since starting the show, she has been one of our biggest supporters and we quite literally would not be where we are today without her love, guidance, generosity and example.

Thank you so much Bev. For being the amazing woman you are. For sharing your time with us. For raising your two beautiful sons into respectable men. For paving the "woo-woo" path for all of us. You have done the work. You have lead by beautiful example. And you continue to learn and shed layers, always becoming an even more evolved and empowered version of yourself. Ok, so what is Spiritual Bypassing and why should we try to avoid it?

"Spiritual bypassing is a way of hiding behind spirituality or spiritual practices. It prevents people from acknowledging what they are feeling and distances them from both themselves and others. Some examples of spiritual bypassing include: Avoiding feelings of anger." (https://www.verywellmind.com)

Today both Micki & Sam discuss how important it is to FEEL the feels instead of shoving them away and repressing them (which, let's face it, is something we all feel like we need to do). In order to truly move past the thing, whatever it is that is triggering you, you have to deeply FEEL it. Allow it to move through your body and sit in the "gook" for a moment. If you do this, and truly allow your body to move through the emotions, you gifts, lessons and clarity will be so much more beneficial on the other side of the contrast.

What you resist persists...so feel it out. Own it. Ride the wave. And come out wiser, clearer and inspired on the other side.

So how do you get into that sweet spot? Where your mind and body really FEEL like you are experiencing your desires? You try. You commit. You use your imagination. You assign the feelings you are hoping to feel when you receive your desires, and feel deeply into them. So deeply that your body can't tell the difference whether it is happening now or not. And...keep doing it! Don't stop. Even if it feels silly. Even if you feel like it's not working, it is. It always is. Keep going. Keep trying. Keep taking one step closer to your manifestations and before you know it, everything you desire will be yours.

Have you ever set out to do something with clear expectations, and fallen completely "flat on your face?" Well, Sam has (pfft, let's face it... haven't we all?) and she is here to spill all about it.

After following the guidance of a channeled message from Micki, Sam travelled to Australia to promote the properties in her business, Host to Host. She set an expectation to increase the members, status and ultimately, sales. But this did not happen...not. even. close. So why? Why go all the way there? Why do all of the things if your expectations are not met?

Because expectations are essential in order to motivate you to do the thing. If you didn't have that expectation of exactly what you wanted, there wouldn't be any reason for you to do it. You need to expect your desired outcome, in order for you to take inspired action so that the Universe can carve out the path with the gifts; the experience; the wisdom; the connections; the journey that supports and guides you to your ultimate manifestations.

Does this suck sometimes? Yup. Will you cry? If you're like us, probably. Is it worth it? Absolutely.

(92) She's Back! Sam's Recap of Her Trip to Australia

She's back! And ready to share alllll of the details of her trip.

Was it amazing? YES. Did it come with lots of lessons? YES. Disappointment? You bet. Confusion? Pfffftttt - so much. Aww and wonder? Yes. SO MUCH. Gratitude? Unbelievable amounts. The rollercoaster of emotions was great and it was worth every single second.

Sam expresses the emotions, thoughts and feelings that you are "not supposed" to feel when you are in her position. She went on a trip of a lifetime, and things didn't pan out exactly how she thought they would (Surprise! The Universe has another plan). And this failed expectation was unfortunately really distracting. Which leads to all kinds of rich understandings and realizations.

Through this experience, Sam discovers the truth about our expectations, "failure", quality, and unwavering faith in the Universe. Knowing our success is now, and only gets to get better, this is just another beautiful bump in the road.

AND she received the inspiration for a BRAND new way of operating her business, Host to Host. Details to come in a later episode.

Language! We take it for granted. Here's a hint...DON"T!

Do you use phrases like:

"I wish I could..."

"That's too expensive."

"I couldn't never do ____."

"I can't afford ____."

"I'm not good with names."

"I'm not good at ____."

The list goes on...

When you start on your manifestation journey, one of the key strategies to up-levelling is self awareness. And part of self-awareness is paying attention to our thoughts, phrases and our limiting beliefs. When you think any thought, it creates emotion in your body. Emotion is what creates your vibration. Vibration is what attracts your life's circumstances to you. So, wouldn't you rather attract what you want into your life, rather than what is in your current reality/more of things you don't wan't? It starts with your thoughts, and tweaking your language to better serve you.

(81) OMJ Manifestation Hack: Manifest Your IDENTITY - Not Your Desires

Stop trying to just manifest the thing that you want. That sounds funny, but bare with us. The most efficient way to manifest your desires is to FIRST manifest the version of you who attracts these desires with ease and effortlessness. Make it NORMAL for these desires to manifest into your life. Be the person who allows them to come to you. You naturally attract them because it is WHO YOU ARE! Use affirmations (repetition, repetition, repetition) and notice the those that are keeping you in the past. Take this one step at a time and be patient with yourself. Natural acclimation is key.

If you decide to skip this crucial step, you can suffer from self sabotage, an identity crisis and potentially make that manifestation disappear. This is not to scare you AT ALL - it is actually to make it easier for you to manifest your desires. Become the person who already has all of the things you desire, so that when they manifest, it feels very natural. You say "of course" when it arrives, because vibrationally, you already have it.

(74) Self "Sabotage" - Are You Hitting An Upper Limit? Or Do You Need REST?

It finally happened...we got the COVID and it slowed us down (well, it slowed Micki down...Sam's a generator and is unstoppable!). We cancelled our first online event, Micki postponed her channeling sessions and other projects, and Sam shifted her designing to only work from home (while Nick did all of her running around - lol).

So what happens when your are forced to slow down? You start to ask yourself what is happening energetically - at least that's what we always do. Is this our ego's way of preventing us from taking the next leap? Is it self sabotage? OR is it your body's way of telling you to slow down and rest? How do you tell the difference?

What we do know, is that the Universe is always supporting us. Even if we need to slow down. Even if we feel like we are getting nothing done. As Sam discovered, you don't need to be sick in order to receive support from others and the Universe. But sometimes it takes slowing down to realize how supported you really are.

Listen in as we discuss Sam's awareness/experience of her energetic up levelling and as we contemplate the difference between holding ourselves back from the next big leap and purposefully slowing down when our body rest.

Miscarriage. The word alone has so much fear attached to it. Micki couldn't even say it until she knew for sure she was having one. However, this word ended up being not as scary as she thought. In fact, it became a blessing in many ways.

Talking about miscarriage is a tricky subject because everyone has their own experience. Whether you have experienced it yourself, or you know someone who has gone through it, it can be traumatic on all those involved. But it doesn't have to remain that way. It doesn't have to be something you think back on and wonder why? Why did this happen to me? Why did the Universe do this to me? It doesn't have to be something that makes you feel less than, unworthy or broken. It doesn't have to be a flaw you have. It doesn't have to make you a victim.

What can it do?

It can empower you. It can make space for MORE trust in the Universe. It can help you empathize more deeply with others. It can humble you. It can make you question your role in the life, the Universe's role in your reality and strengthen your trust in the divine plan that is in store for you.

This was Micki's experience and so much more.

So open your mind, let Micki dive deep into her own perspective, and see how it resonates with you. Her intention is to bring you peace, and if that works on even one person who needs to hear these words, than the whole experience was worth it.

(62) Our LIFE-CHANGING Trip to Mexico!

Here it is! A detailed recap of our AMAZING trip to Mexico. We both had some incredible downloads and some beautiful, life-changing experiences.

Travel can be very stressful and challenging. There are always road blocks and detours. You have to be prepared to get lost, be confused and make mistakes. But also, you can learn lessons, meet people, make connections, and expand your understanding of the world (What a beautiful metaphor for life and manifestation). This was our experience - and then some.

From missing a night in Mexico and having to fly to the other side of the country (It's Canada. It's a big country), to meeting Raechelle for the first time after two years of online meetings, to having some incredible breakdowns & breakthroughs, to horseback riding on the beach (3 times), to tarot card readings, to mind-bending massages, to dancing on the beach in a silent disco at sunset...guys...this trip is epic.

Our conversation with Andrea is, in a word, transformational. She has truly embodied the energy of wealth - in every sense of the word - and it definitely wasn't handed to her. Andrea started in very uncertain circumstances surrounded by "drug dealers and strippers." After a divine teenage pregnancy woke her up from the downward spiral she was on, Andrea (and this little soul who said 'put me in coach!'), put herself on the path to success. And did she ever succeed!

Andrea's outlook on life, money, wealth, energy is beyond inspiring. Her contagious energy and ability to simplify the energy of wealth is so refreshing and affirming that this life is supposed to be easy. (56) Healing Your Inner Teenager - Sorry Mom and Dad, this one's a doozy

No matter what you ask for - the Universe delivers...quickly. Especially if that means asking for clarity and release of generational trauma. Maybe take a deep breath before pressing play on this one Dad.

We recently attended the Almost 30 Winter Camp and watched a presentation by speaker Bethany Webster on the Inner Teenager. At the time, it did not feel profound. But the series of events lined up by the Universe that followed sent us on a crazy journey of re-living the past though finding home videos, bringing up and releasing generational trauma through reiki healing with Skylar Shay and Bev, and as a result, experiencing profound liberation and freedom - for Sam at least. She felt (and still feels) immensely healed and is now fully embodying her wealthy self (more on this in an upcoming episode).

Micki, on the other hand, may have experienced a tiny exorcism lol - but seriously. Listen now for more on that!

As a result of this experience, Micki received a message from Skylar AND Bev that was extremely profound - PLAY. PLAY. PLAY. PLAY. PLAY. What does this even mean? Do you know how to play? Micki is inspired and a bit stumped by this suggestion and is on a quest to learn what this word means and feels like for her.

This episode is a wild ride. It is uncomfortable, honest, extremely vulnerable and incredibly healing. Reiki is the real deal. We can't believe how truly powerful it is. Thank you Skylar and Bev for giving us such supportive and epic transformations.

Allison Cullen is the CEO of You Do Woo, a certified Human Design coach, with a background in counselling, a podcast host, a mama of a beautiful little Reflector, a course creator, and a supporter of anything Woo Woo. She has spent the past 15 years working as both a business manager in the music industry and a business coach in the health & wellness world. Allison started her podcast in 2020 when the world was in a state of disarray and she knew that fellow mommas & entrepreneurs needed to be able to make sense out of our current reality. In addition to human design readings, Allison offers courses on manifestation, energetic decluttering, vision-boarding, and even taking a break from alcohol in order to tap into your intuition and divine gifts.

Our intention in having Allison on the show is to give voices to those around us who are also saying no to a mediocre life and asking the question, "Could life be better?" Allison left her convention job and started looking at life a little differently once she jumped into the world of Human Design. This decision has led her to creating a community of women who want to say no to an ordinary life and start living as who we are all meant to be - successful, joyful, abundant, playful beings who are excited about life!

(53) Understanding the POWER of Your Emotions is the ANSWER

Emotions! Ugh. Most of us spend our lives avoiding the unpleasant ones and seeking the pleasurable ones, right? That's our experience anyway. Well, we recently read a book called The Heart of the Soul by Gary Zukav and Linda Francis, and let us tell you...this book brought SO MUCH CLARITY. It called us out in ways that we never imagined it would. This book sees you clearly and encourages you to question your strategies in life that help you avoid experiencing unpleasant emotions. And what we have realized is, these strategies are what keep us from manifesting our ultimate desires. We all have ways of escaping truly feeling in our bodies and focusing our attention outwards instead of inwards. The truth is, recognizing and becoming extremely familiar with your internal landscape will actually change your exterior world.

Through this very meaningful conversation, we come to understand that the real purpose of our desires is to fulfill the fullest expression of ourselves and our gifts in order to be of service to the expansion of the planet. And in order to pursue and beleive in our desires, we need to understand where our emotions come from, how they feel in our body, identify their source and release any fear and doubt that doesn't serve us. The ultimate goal is to operate the majority of our time out of love and deep TRUST in ourselves and in the Universe.

It is not easy to admit your flaws, scapegoats and crutches, but it wouldn't be Our Manifestation journey if we didn't spill the beans on our most vulnerable moments. Micki first came across Katie J. on the Manifestation Babe Podcast, and she was talking about shadow work and working with witches. Naturally, Micki was instantly intrigued and reached out. Since then, Micki has taken multiple breath work classes and sat in (virtual) women circles with Katie, and the experiences have been transformational!
