These actions led to profound reductions in seven major community challenges statewide. Ms. Porter discusses the study itself, her work in Washington, and how she scaled some of that success to the nationwide Master Trainer Initiative. Through this initiative, she and Dr. Rob Anda, one of the lead researchers from the ACEs study, train people to train others in presenting the topic of ACEs through a shame reduction strategy.
