Bio:

Reverend Dr. Brennetta Williams is the Visionary Founder and Senior Pastor of the Impact Worship Center Int’l located in Chesapeake, Virginia. The Impact Worship Center is a church with a vision to impact lives for victorious living through Christ. IWCI is committed to serving those in need and reaching the lost at any cost.

Dr. Williams received her undergraduate studies degree in Business Management from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. After achieving her Bachelor of Science degree, she earned a Master of Divinity from the Samuel Dewitt Proctor School of Theology in Richmond, Virginia. She earned her Doctorate in Ministry from United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio. Her professional background includes marketing for several leading pharmaceutical companies. Over the last decade, she has dedicated her life to providing medicines, education and community services to those affected and infected with HIV/AIDS. The experience has been instrumental in sensitizing her to the suffering of others.

Dr. Williams has been blessed to minister locally, nationally and internationally. She is passionate concerning foreign missions. Dr. Williams has served on Africa crusade teams to Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Capetown, Durban, Mauritius, Soweto and Johannesburg, South Africa, as well as, China and Thailand. Mostly recently, she led an Operation Impact Missions and Ministry Team to Nairobi, Kenya.

Dr. Williams answered the call to the gospel ministry and was licensed in 2003. She has served as an Associate Minister, Adjutant, Director of Prayer Ministries and in a multiplicity of capacities ministering to congregational spiritual needs.

Dr. Williams is currently affiliated with the Worship Center Worldwide Fellowship of Churches and was ordained under the spiritual covering of Bishop Millicent Hunter. She is an evangelist, conference speaker, and community advocate dedicated to faithfully serving others. Her greatest passion is working in the Kingdom of God to see lives renewed, restored and revived. She is the recipient of numerous community service awards including the 2018 MLK Missions and Ministry Award, 2019 Women of the Word and the 2020 African American Creative Community Award. Annually, Dr. Williams has hosted the Destined2Impact Empowerment Conference at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. Most recently she released her new book, “Breaking Forth 2 Destiny”.

I was a single teenage mom at 17/18 and kicked out of my mom's house when my daughter was 4 months old. I went to live with my grandparents where I shared a twin size bed with my daughter without a job or car and college was starting in 2 months. I worked 2 jobs that summer to get my first car. Went on to get my own apartment at 19 and to buy a house a yr later at 20 and closed on it a few days after my 21st birthday. Since then I've become a CPA and have worked in both the accounting and finance industries in different roles for over 6 years now. I sold my 1st home for more than a 100k profit and bought a new home with my husband. We are now working on our investments to retire my husband in the next 5-10 years. I believe that no matter what life has thrown at you that you can be successful and win with money. I help my clients to create a financial plan to reach their goals and stop stressing about money.

What sets Gale a part from other speakers is that she speaks from the heart? She has experienced hardships but truly embodies living her best life. Some of the cool things she has done in her life: One of three girls allowed to play coed baseball in 1977 (when the law passed). She is a veteran of the US Air Force. She skied the Swiss Alps and walked through check point Charlie at the Berlin Wall. She graduated college at the age of 35 (while going through a divorce, working three part time jobs and raising two girls). She completed a pageant at the age of 42. Competed in a kettlebell competition at 48 (and won), and won a dance competition in 2014. And earned her MBA at 53.

She did a TEDx, Breaking the Cycle, in 2012. Her first blog post went into Huffington Post. She started acting in 2014 and has been in episodes of VEEP, House of Cards, and local commercials. She performed the Pledge of Allegiance for the Vice President of the United States in 2012. Most recently, she climbed the stairs at the Eiffel Tower (and she is afraid of heights).

Currently, she works a full time job, is writing books, and works with clients helping them move their businesses forward.

Gale’s greatest accomplishment, however, is raising her two amazing and beautiful daughters.

With a BA in French Language from the University of Jos. An alumnus of The Enterprise Development Centre of Pan African University with a certificate in Entrepreneurship Management.
