Christmas. It was when we had little in terms of material wealth, and the car i was driving broke down on the side of a main highway. The car broke down all the time--we didn't have the funds to fix it properly, and I usually just hoped the car would get me to work every day. By some miracle, it always did. The car always would restart. But this day, it didn't. So I walked. It was a long walk, and as I made my way home, the tune, and the words of this song came to me. I thought I had nothing to give others that Christmas. I wouldn't be able to afford the gifts I wished I could give to friends and family. "What can i give?" I thought. Then, I realized that childlike belief led to bearing light, truth, love, and using the less tangible gifts I had been given to uplift others was what I could give to my Savior Jesus Christ. These gifts could be both given, and received at Christmas, and always.

There was a time years ago, I was taught the meaning of Christmas.
