We talk about symptoms of Parkinson's, the services available to people living with Parkinson's in the Highlands and the fundraising efforts needed to support these services. The Saturday Drop In, drops out!

We've packed up the studio and headed off to Woodzstock 2025 to soak up one of the best little festivals in the country. Us and our equipment also soaked up quite a bit of rain water! But, that didn't stop us!

We met up with Steven Barclay from The Chosen Lonely about opening up the festival and how you can help him do the same at Belladrum 2025.

Local musicians, and all round good characters Bev, Loretta and Liza chatted to us about what they had planned at Woodzstock and tried to list every other musical act they are a part of.

We chatted to Mikeysline who were another charity partner on the day about their services and celebrations planned for the 10th anniversary of Mikeysline.

We even managed a quick work with Rosco Smith the organiser of the event.

It wasn't all fun and games for Tom as he limped into the studio following a swimming pool fall. Did he fall, or did he have a fall? We discuss, while Shannon looks for a wheelchair from the hospital lobby.

The Ice Bucket Challenge seems to be making a come back. We had a think about challenges we wouldn't mind seeing come back to try in the studio, and many we'd rather didn't.

It's national gardening week, Shannon has hit the jackpot with her sunflower haul, with her quest to be known as Dingwall's 'Sunflower Woman' well under way!

We're joined by Morag and Fiona from The Florian's Theatre to talk about their forthcoming production of 'Get Up and Tie Your Fingers'. The play about the 'Herring Lassies', the term for the woman who would work to process the herring catches in coastal towns around Scotland. The play, set in Eyemouth, focusses on the events of 'Black Friday' October 1881 when a storm lead to the loss of 189 men. Morag and Fiona also told us about The Florian's history and the theatre. This week were joined in the studio by John from the Puffin Hydrotherapy Pool based in Dingwall. John told us about how using the facility can compliment physiotherapy for recovery from injury, relieving pain for longterm chronic conditions and create a calm relaxing environment for neurodivergent users. John also explains how you can access the service and how the Puffin Pool, which is a registered charity, is funded.

We couldn't not mention mother's day and had a chat about what that means for us, that Shannon is off again next week to visit Hinkley. Of course!

5 years on from the COVID lockdown we talked about our personal experiences and how the lockdown affected Hospital Radio in both good and bad way.

Tom is joined by another guest presenter this week, Terry Henderson. Terry is the unchallenged chief quizzer at Highland Hospital Radio so expect some challenging questions during the show.

Terry is also quite the thespian, and is playing a role in a forthcoming play 'The Grants of Glen Grant'. We were joined by the plays writer and director Kate Henderson who told us about the story and production. As well as that, we got to chat to some of the cast as well. The show is taking place as part of the Spirit of Speyside festival starting late April.

#9 Inverness Musical Theatre Company, Helen MacPherson is the Queen of Country in the Highlands

Shannon is off enjoying a break which means we get a bonus special guest host Helen MacPherson joining Tom.

Tom and Helen haven't been in the studio before, but they've done lots of outside broadcasts, and this week we got to spend Monday afternoon with some students from Millburn Academy Inverness. The students were taking part in Youth and Philanthropy Initiative Scotland. Find out how they got on in the studio and seeing a record player!

We're joined in the studio with the team from Inverness Musical Theatre Company. They are celebrating 100 years of the organisation, and they came to tell us about their forthcoming production of singin' in the rain which runs from 26th March 2025 at Eden Court Theatre.

Tom then gets the chance to talk with Helen about her career in commercial radio. Having one awards locally, nationally and internationally. Helen has so many stories to tell about her time following country music.
