Natalie and Elisabeth visit with Sydney Hatcher, three time author and founder of "Carmen's Miracle Makers," about her journey through bereaved parenthood. She shares the story of her daughter Carmen's short but beautiful life spent mostly within the walls of a hospital and about her personal discovery embracing and celebrating every moment of it. She lays out the intentional steps she took to bond with her daughter through weekly photo shoots in her hospital room and how this sparked the idea of a way to serve other families that are walking their children through the challenges of special needs in infancy. Sydney continues to invest in and cultivate Carmen's legacy through her writing and the foundation she created in her honor.

Elisabeth touches on the "Pomodro Technique" and her interest in seeing if it could be helpful and Natalie advocates for having friends over for take-out and giving herself permission to stay out of the kitchen and enjoy invested time-minus the dishes.
