The Australian Grand Prix is booming, and according to CEO Travis Auld, managing fans — not selling tickets — has become the event’s biggest challenge.

With Albert Park approaching 30 years as an F1 venue in 2026, that focus has driven the biggest infrastructure upgrade in the event’s history. Shane van Gisbergen is one of the great motorsport success stories of 2024. He rocketed to stardom on the NASCAR scene, winning races in the Xfinity Series and more than holding his own during his outings in the Cup Series.

Now he has a full-time Cup ride for 2025.
