Hello, Can You Hear Me? is an audio storytelling project that was funded by Wakefield Council as part of Our Year – Wakefield District 2024 

It features ten folktales re-created by the storyteller, Beccy Dye. These were arranged on a period telephone which was then toured across the District. People simply dialled a number to reach a story, each story was broken up into parts, so if they wanted listens could create story mash-ups.

Hope Returns takes place just after the last episode of Hope Travels, when Hope is stuck between worlds. It was a live, interactive storytelling performance that toured eleven venues, across six days delivering 23 performances to over 200 children in hard to reach areas.

The show explored themes of caring for the environment and of making words count.
