Alex Alonso and author, investigative journalist Chris Todd discuss the 1994 double murder case of Nicole Brown and Ronald Goldman. O.J. Simpson was acquitted of these murders in October of 1995, but according to Chris Todd, there is more to the double homicide beyond the official version by the LAPD. Chris Todd theorizes that a long time friend of OJ Simpson, Charlie Ehrlich was present during the double homicide at Nicole Brown's residence on Bundy Drive, and may have participated.

The official version by the LAPD and prosecutors was that OJ Simpson was the lone assailant, but evidence revealed during the trial show foot print of at least two persons were involved.

Back in 2008 Bleu Davinci was sentenced to 5 years 4 months in federal prison for his role in a BMF drug related case. What does it mean to have a “safety valve”? Mara Shalhoup wrote a book called “The Rise and Fall of Big Meech” in 2010 and claims that Bleu cooperated in some way. According to her, “McKnight received a five-year sentence — eight months less than the government's recommendation, due in part to the fact that he agreed to share information with authorities. That information was not useful, however, because the government already had built most of its case against BMF. McKnight also was not willing to testify against other defendants.

"He would have liked to have cooperated if he could have," his attorney, David MacKusick, said. "But he didn't have any useful information."

2. Georgia police use photo of black man for target practices, but the chief say that he is not racist nor is the department. What was posted on Facebook was removed and the chief stated that there are photos of Asian and White men that are used too.

3. San Jose Police arrest gang members after 1 year investigation. After the investigation, nine adults and three juvenile were arrested on various offenses.

4. Mother, Carlisha Hood and 14 -year old son had murder charges dropped in Chicago after the son, shot Jeremy Brown after he assaulted him mother at a hamburger stand.

-Alleged Shooter of Council Woman, Eunice Dwumfour, a 30-year-old, that was shot and killed in New Jersey in February has arrested, a Virginia man has been charged with murder of the New Jersey councilman. (See EP51), Rashid Ali Bynum, 28, has been charged with first-degree murder.

-Former NFL player and FSU football player, Travis Rudolph, shoots ex-girlfriend's, Dominique Jones' brothers after they came for him in an attempted assault. Dominique lied to to her brothers and claimed that Travis physically assaulted her. The four men showed up at his house, two were armed, and their altercation turned into Travis shooting his AR-15 in self defense 39 times. He killed one of the guys and is currently on trial for murder.

* Why Eric Holder has a parole eligibility date of 2039. Turns out that Holder is eligbile for the Elderly Parole program. The individual is eligible for a parole hearing under the Elderly Parole Program because they are not condemned or sentenced to life without the possibility of parole. Depending on the individual’s current sentence, their first parole hearing will be scheduled once they have either 1) been incarcerated at least 20 continuous years and at least reached the age of 50, or 2) been incarcerated at least 25 continuous years and at least reached the age of 60. Doesn't mean he will actually be released in 2039. But if he has good behavior, meets alls the requirements, there is a good change he will be released much sooner than expected.

* BTB Savage shooter has been identified as Montrel Burley, 40. He was recently arrested just outside San Antonio, where BTB Savage and his girl shot and killed a would be thief, Omar Richardson. The police cleared BTB in that shooting ruling it a self defense, but after he went on VLAD TV, providing details of the shooting and posting photos from the scene of the killing, within hours, he was shot and killed in Houston. Burley, currently being held on $1 million bail, has been linked to the deceased Richardon.

* Fetanyl dealer, 25-year-old Joaun Wright was caught with stash of 40 grams of fentanyl in Pringles container. He is also charged with multiplt gun charges.

*Grandmother and Police Union executive, Segovia has been charged with dealing fentanyl including 61 shipments of the drug from foreign countries.

Four inmates involved was Aurelio "Augie" Patino of Riverside who was serving 16 months, Christopher "Sneaky" Ruiz, 48 of San Diego who was serving 10 years, Jose "Torch" Villegas 41 of Los Angeles who was serving 15-years and Adilson "Shanky" Reyes, 37 of Los Angeles was serving 135 months. Reyes was not part of this deal and the other three are scheduled to be sentence on June 12, 2023.

1. Inmate Jarrett Hobbs, 41, (05:33) was brutally assaulted in a jail cell in Camden, Georgia and It was all captured on video. It appears that five deputies are present in the cell, but only three were charged. The three deputies are charged with Battery of an Inmate, and Violating the Oath of Office. Deputies Mason Garrick, Braxton Massey, and Ryan Biegel were terminated before their arrests on felony charges.

2. Shanquella Robinson (18:36) died on October 29, 2022 while vacationing in Mexico with “friends” and after arriving there just one day before on October 28. Initially the group of friends claimed that Robinson died of alcohol poisining but after the autopsy release their report in November, it was revealed that she died from a broken back and spinal. Then a video showing Daejhanae Jackson beating a defenseless Robinson has recently went viral online and its beginning to look like a deliberate attack. The FBI is investigation (20:43) in North Carolina. The "friends" present is Nazeer Wiggins, Malik Dyer, Alyssa Hyatt, Wenter Donovan, and Daejhanae Jackson.

3. Melly Mel from Santana Blocc Crip (31:55) recently did an interview with Mob James, and during that discussion, Melle Mel suggested that the FBI paperwork that F.G. produced in December 2021 was not authentic. He stated that he read all the paperwork and because he did not see a "51K" (its actually a 5K1) it was not authentic. FG was definitely offended by this exchange.

Memphis police investigating Young Dolph's murder arrested a third suspect, Hernandez Govan, 43, has been indicted on charges of first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit first-degree murder. Shelby County District Attorney Steve Mulroy believes that Govan is the one who solicited the murder, leading Justin "Straight Drop" Johnson and Cornelius Smith to shoot the Memphis rapper in broad daylight at Makeda’s Homemade Butter Cookies on November 17, 2021.

2. Is Hip-Hop cursed, not just rappers getting murder, but many are dying from illness and drug use. And has rap artists taken the genre to a place that it cannot return. Most recently rappers, Takeoff from the Migos and PnBRock where shot and killed.

3. Dave Chappelle's monologue on Saturday Night Live (SNL) has caused some from the Jewish the community to claim that he made anti-semitic jokes, but listen to Alex & F.G.'s take on Chappelle's monologue. Chappeelle's monologue focused on the recent actions of Kyrie Irving and Ye, formerly known as Kanye West.

4. Courtney Clenney, the Only Fans model who was recently charged with 2nd degree murder of Christian Obumseli, is trying to bail out of jail. The state of Florida claims that she earned over $3 million on her Only Fans account and that she is a flight risk. Klenney is alleging that she killed her boyfriend because she was being abused.

1.Cain Velasquez (05:32) was granted bail but it wasn’t from the original judge Shelayna Brown. During the hearing this week it was Judge Arthur Bocanegra that granted bail. Cain speaks right after walking out of jail (11:24).

2. Former Instagram influencer and “entrepreneur” Ramon Abbas (25:24), known to his millions of Instagram followers as Ray Hushpuppi was sentenced to 130 months in US Federal prison for doing scams and committing fraud. He was arrested in 2020 in Dubai and extradited to US authorities to face charges. All the "wealth" that he was flaunting on Instagram, approximately $24 million, was illegally acquired.

3. An entire segment of internet sleuths (42:40) are trying to solve the Takeoff murder, inspired by DJ Akademics. Thus far people on Youtube and Instagram have creating multiple and contradictory theories on who and why Takeoff from the Migos was shot and killed. Akademics supports DA Tani Willis (46:54) who is using lyrics to indict rappers.

4. Sergio Kitchens "Gunna" was denied bail (52:03) by Judge Ural Glanville a third time, partly or mostly based on a text message that was sent between two other persons two years before the indictment that has been wrongly interpreted as being a threat.

5. If YSL (Young Slime) has members that include Gunna a Crip, and like Young Thug a Blood what kind of "gang" is it? (1:02:52) If YSL includes people from various gangs from traditional rival areas can that organization still be defined as a gang according to State law?

Racist Council members won’t go, rapper Gunna denied bail 3rd time, and COs having sex with inmates (EP36)

1. The clean Chevy Impala low-riders from the video "How to Rob a Rapper". Was it a 1958, a 1959 and a 1962 Chevy Impala?

2. Gil Cedillo and Kevin DeLeon refuse to step down as Los Angeles City Council members, even after the third offender, Nury Martinez vacated her seat last week. Gil Cedillo lost his seat during the June election so he has to leave regardless in December but Kevin Deleon appears to be holding out and community activist are camping out in front of his house until he resigns. Will he leave his $207K per year job?

3. Rapper Gunna (Sergio Kitchens) – was denied bail a third time by Judge Ural Glanville even though he is basing his denial on unsubstantiated claims made by informants. Gunna's attorney Steven Sadow said “We now know for certain that the State’s last-minute assertion at the third bond hearing on October 13 that there was a text message (not disclosed to Kitchens in discovery as the Court had expressly ordered) between two individuals (neither of whom was Kitchens), where one person ‘offered to murder’ another person on Kitchens’ behalf, was undeniably false.” Gunna's attorney filed a motion for a fourth bail hearing. Will Gunna eventually get a bail?

4. The man accused in the murder of rapper PnB Rock was extradited to Los Angeles from Las Vegas, Nevada. Freddie Lee Trone, 40 is in LA custody, in the LA County Jail, but does not have a court date, but he just got there this week and has a $3 million bail .

5. Is this Instagram account @goodverbal considered racist? A whistleblower from inside FCI Victorville federal prison, claims that a correctional officer is behind the instagram account, posting taunts and criticisms. Rolland Martin from his show Unfiltered, claims that some of the posts are racist and misogynistic. Tap in and let us know what you think of this Instagram page before it gets removed.

6. Last year the feds indicted 4 employees at Dublin federal prison for women for having unlawful sex with the prisoners. Two COs, the warden and the chaplain are all accused of having sex with multiple female prisoners. James Theodore Highhouse, the chaplain and Ray J Garcia, 55, the warden, have been indicted. CO Ross Klinger has already plead guilty to the charges and is awaiting sentence. This all occurred in 2021, but just last week, a former female inmate, only known as M.L. has filed a lawsuit against the men. Tap in to get the details.

1. Rapper D3, who was featured on YG's latest single, "How to Rob a Rapper" with Mozzy, calls into Streets and Scholars and explains that this song was in the works, way before Philadelphia rapper PnB Rock was robbed and killed in Los Angeles.

2. Bishop Lamor Whitehead who was wearing over $1 million in jewelry when he was broadcasting his sermon live on Facebook was robbed from his church in Brooklyn, New York in July. The robbery was captured on video and looked unusual, but two men were recently arrested by the NYPD and ATF.

3. The murder convictions of two Black men in northern California were vacated after a judge ruled that the introduction of rap lyrics and racialized rhetoric violated the new Racial Justice Act a law designed to limit racism within the criminal justice system.

Gov. Gavin Newsom recently signed the new law that limits the use of rap lyrics in criminal court cases and amateur rappers Gary Bryant Jr. and Diallo Jackson were the first to benefit from the new law, but prosecutors still have the option to retry the two.

4. Mexican American Los Angeles City Council members, Nury Martinez, Gil Cedillio and Kevin DeLeon were all heard on a secretly leaked audio making disparaging remarks about Mike Bonin another council member. They also made several anti-black comments and community members have called for all three LA council member to resign.

A Georgia man was sentenced to 10-years in prison for involuntary manslaughter after defending himself against a group of white supremacists at a Taco Bell in 2020. While Marc Wilson, who is black was seen with his white girl friend, Emma Rigdon, he was threatened by a group of white who yelled racial slurs at him. When Wilson shot at the group, his bullet his a 17-year old girl that was sitting in the back seat of the vehicle.
Nicole Linton, who drove her car nearly 130 miles into a Los Angeles intersection, killing five people, has a sister that created a website to highlight her mental illness. Camille Linton believes that the Los Angeles DA’s office has over charged her sister Nicole.
As soon as the civil law suit was filed against comedians Tiffany Haddish and Arie Spears, it was dismissed after the two minors that appeared in a skit entitled, “The Mind of a Pedophile” received an undisclosed settlement. The case is closed.

According to paperwork on the case, Snoopy gave up information, but in a recent video he claims that the defendant who killed his friend wanted him to testify to help him.

Whitey Bulger’s killers charged and Young Thug denied bail for a third time (EP28)

In this episode 28 of Streets and Scholars with Frank "FG" Thornton and Alex Alonso they discuss Whitey Bulger's murder at Hazelton, West Virginia that occurred in 2018 and how the Feds four years later charged three men in his death. Inmate Sean McKinnon used a prison phone to tell his mother that he got intel that Bulger was arriving to his prison. The next morning, McKinnon was the lookout as, Fotios “Freddy” Geas, 55, a mafia hitman who was sharing a cell with McKinnon, and Paul DeCologero, 48, who was a member of an organized crime gang led by his uncle was seen on camera entering Bulger's cell. Prison staff later found Bulger bludgeoned to death. Bulger acted as an FBI informant while he led the largely Irish mob in Boston from the 1970s to the early 1990s.

Fulton County Judge Ural Glanville, denied Young Thug bail for a third time. The prosecutors continued to use his rap lyrics against him, even though defense attorneys for Young Thug have shown that he is not the sole writer of the lyrics. Defense attorneys have even offered to allow Young Thug's home to be monitored and full access to his property if there is any concern that he is a danger to the community or a flight risk, but the judge still denied him.

An Indianapolis woman, Gaylyn Morris, 26, kills her boyfriend, Andre Smith, with her car for cheating. She allegedly drove her vehicle over him three times around midnight last Thursday. She followed him to an Indianapolis watering hole using Apple tag tracking. And a Correctional Captain from Rikers Island dies after Brazilian Butt Lift surgery in the Domincan Republic.

Disgraced Dr. Hector Cabral was indicted in NYC several years ago for bad medical practicing. At least 5 other women have died from his surgeries but Tandra Bowser-Williams, who died from a stroke, decided to use his services despite knowing the doctors terrible record. In this episode 16 of Streets and Scholars with Alex Alonso and Frank "FG" Thornton... Eric Holder’s trial has begun today. Three years after being accused of killing Nipsey Hussle, they are in the beginning stages of jury selection and this process will hopefully last no more than 2 days, so by next Monday morning attorneys for both sides will present their opening statements.

Tytyana Miller, 29, the daughter of rap mogul Master P has passed away after dealing with drug dependency. The family has not publicly said what has caused her death but it looks like a possible overdose.

Jose Viera, a correctional officer with the Bureau of Prison (BOP) has plead guilty to raping a female inmate and is looking at 10 years in prison.

And lastly, mass shootings in 2022 are in the rise, 10 killed in Buffalo, New York in what was a racial attack against black residents at their local supermarket. The shooter, Payton Gendron, 18, was taken into custody without incident. And in Uvalde, Texas, shooter Salvado Ramos, 18, shot his grandparent and then went to Robb Elementary School and killed 19 students and 2 teachers. And the local police in Uvalde did not enter the school for an 1 hour, and it wasn’t until federal officers of the US Customs and Border Patrol arrived that the shooter was stopped and killed. Alex & FG conclude that there really isn’t any system that can stop a citizen form committing a mass shooting and thats another FIRE episode of Streets & Scholars.
